Namiru replace Keine for the remainder of the CBLOL with paiN

announced this Friday (28) the promotion of Daniel "" Lisboa to its main League of Legends roster. The Brazilian player will make his CBLOL debut against , replacing South Korean Kim "" Joon-cheol in the team's next match.

The match against Vivo Keyd Stars will take place during the final week of the CBLOL 2026 regular season, before the playoffs begin. Namiru will make his debut on the CBLOL stage following paiN Academy's early elimination from the 2026 Circuito Desafiante.

Namiru had been part of paiN Academy's roster and will now have the opportunity to play an official match for the organization's main team. The academy squad was eliminated by RMD Gaming last week in the 2026 Circuito Desafiante playoffs.

The mid laner had his first competitive experience with INTZ Academy in 2024, where he remained for much of the season. After that, Namiru played for FURIA Youth and 7REX before joining paiN in March this year, when the organization announced its return to Brazil's Tier 2 competition.

He shared the academy roster with Enzo "" Ganino, Samuel "" Pereira, Vinicius "" Marvin and Vitor "" Leopoldo. He will now join Felipe "" Boal, Marcos "" Santos, Park "" Jeung-hawn and Denilson "" Oliveira on the main roster for CBLOL 2026.

In a statement to Sheep Esports, paiN Gaming said there had been disagreements between Keine, the coaching staff and the players regarding several aspects of their work. The situation escalated this week, leading to the decision to remove the South Korean player from the roster.

"Some time ago, we understood that there were clear disagreements between Keine and the coaching staff and players regarding several aspects of the work. This week, however, this escalated into an unacceptable act of indiscipline, and therefore we made the decision to remove him from the team. This is all we will say about the matter. As for Namiru, we were already planning to use him in the playoffs for the starting roster, so having the opportunity to bring that schedule forward and have him debut earlier, get used to the stage and the live crowd, and also have more days of practice with the team is certainly a positive.

It is an environment of great internal and external pressure, but we have continuously evaluated Namiru throughout the entire year, working closely with the Academy staff. We know the fans are eager to see Namiru play, and so are we, of course. There is a short adaptation period for both him and the team, but this extra time will be good for him”.

In the same statement to Sheep Esports, Head Coach Gabriel "Von" Barbosa also highlighted Namiru's different champion pool, which could give paiN additional options during the draft and change the way the team approaches its games.

"Namiru has a different champion pool that can help with the draft and bring a new way for us to think and act. He is a young player, with fresh blood, a lot of motivation and a desire to prove himself, as well as a very professional and calm personality.

He was a very consistent player throughout his performances in the Desafiante, fluctuating very little, and this low level of variation is something that will fit well with the team and with the way we approach the position.”
