Sources: Mexico appoints VALORANT roster for the Esports Nations Cup

According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Mexico’s VALORANT roster for the Esports Nations Cup is expected to feature:

With this lineup, we can confirm a mixed roster, featuring Mmonch, who has been competing at the highest level of Game Changers since February 2025. The lineup’s depth shines with two substitutes: Diego ”Sabortz” Corona Bracamontes from Fuego and Peloncito’s teammates at Contra, Thomas Alexandro "peganus" Urías Guicho, ready to back up the roster. The team will be led by Jorge "Atom" Noriega, Head Coach of LYON, who already knows some players from his team and has therefore taken on the task of assembling this team. The tournament will run from November 8 to 15, with 32 nations competing and the continental qualifiers will take place between June 26th and June 28th.

Mexico will therefore create a lineup that mixes players from several competitive environments across the region. However, just like the League of Legends roster, no player from the team is currently playing in tier 1, in a VCT team. The team, however, aligns a confirmed player from the Game Changers scene with mmonch. She is the first woman to be part of a roster from one of the countries reported by Sheep Esports. She has been playing for KRÜ Blaze since 2025 and notably participated in the Game Changers Championship 2025, finishing fourth with the team.

The rest of the roster selection appears based on the most relevant available national talent, prioritizing active players with recent competitive experience over high-profile international names. The inclusion of players from Chivas, Contra, LYON, and KRÜ is deliberate, intending to balance team structure and ensure representation from different organizations, all chosen for their current form and familiarity with the regional scene.
