LYON Inspired: "We have the potential to be as dominant as FlyQuest last year"

will make their debut in the First Stand against . Sheep Esports spoke with jungler about the matchup against the Brazilian team, the new rivalry between the LCS and CBLOL for the Americas Cup, and also about him being the Final Boss of the Americas.

Kacper "Inspired" Słoma: “I did watch Americas Cup… Honestly, there were not that many surprises in my opinion. I always saw as the strongest CBLOL team, so I knew that it would be very tough for to beat them — and I thought Sentinels are not even that strong. I thought that the series between C9 and FURIA would be a bit closer, but I still felt like FURIA might have a lead, and it was kind of more one-sided than I expected.

Inspired: Yes, for sure, we have the potential to be as dominant as FlyQuest last year, but there’s still a long way ahead of us to achieve that. It’s just the first split that happened, and I think we performed very well in the playoffs, but yeah, there’s still a long way. I think there is potential, but we still have to perform.

Inspired: Not really, I usually don’t pay too much attention on my name. I just take it game by game. It doesn’t matter if I play against a CBLOL team, against an LCS team, against an LCK or LPL team. I treat every team just as five champions, and I don’t really think too much about who my opponent is. Maybe a little bit going into the preparation, but once I’m on the Rift, I just focus on the five champions that we pick and the five champions that my team is playing, so i dont really think about it.

Inspired: At the beginning of the season, I didn’t watch much CBLOL, and I watched a little bit of LEC, and LEC felt pretty low compared to LCS. But then, going into the playoffs, I felt like LEC upgraded, and the players and the team started to play better. About CBLOL, I only paid attention to FURIA’s games, and I was very surprised that they didn’t win cause, as I said before, I kind of felt like they should be the best team. I heard that they just choked, and while watching their games, I felt like they were just making very weird mistakes. So, overall, I think CBLOL has maybe fewer competitive teams, but I think the top three is solid, while in Europe, I think all or most of the teams are very solid. And LCS, I think there are like four solid teams.

Inspired: I never really played against any of the players from LOUD, so I don’t really know exactly what to expect. I’ve heard that their toplaner is like a young promising talent, the jungler and ADC are Koreans, and I heard from that they’ve been performing well in the Academy before, and I’m excited to see what they do, they did manage to win the CBLOL, so for sure they’re a good team and we’ll see how it goes.”
