LoL Classic Patch 26.17 Preview: Annie, Miss Fortune and Garen Buffed. Evelynn, Tryndamere and Gragas Nerfed

New League of Legends Classic Patch 26.17: nine buffs, nine nerfs, as well as system adjustments and buffs. Here’s a preview of the next LoL Classic patch.

Around twenty champions are receiving changes

League of Legends Classic Patch 26.17 is expected to drop on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. This will be a major patch, with around ten champions receiving buffs and another ten being nerfed, alongside several system adjustments.

Among the biggest buffs, Miss Fortune is getting increased damage on almost all of her abilities, as well as a boost to her movement speed. Annie and Garen are also receiving significant buffs.

On the nerf side, Tryndamere is getting hit particularly hard, while Gragas is being nerfed on his Q, W, and ultimate. Blitzcrank, meanwhile, is getting nerfs to his hook, knock-up, and ultimate. Another new feature is also being introduced: players will now be able to swap pick order, roles, and champions during champion select.

You can now swap the pick order, roles, and champions during champion select.

~2.5x IP gain per game.
~2x Classic XP gain per game.

Runes

Everyone will get two additional rune pages.
All minor runes are cheaper, with the same price as primary runes. Quints are also cheaper.
