Sources: SU Esports reshapes roster around Vetheo ahead of Summer Split 2026

The Turkish organization Avella SU Esports has rebuilt its roster ahead of the 2026 TCL Summer Split. One year after joining the league and following back-to-back fourth-place finishes in the first two splits of the season, the organization has secured one of the most recognizable names in the European scene. Former 2022 LEC MVP is set to make his return to competitive play with SU Esports, sources tell Sheep Esports.

According to those same sources, the organization has overhauled its roster, retaining only Turkish jungler from the previous split. Joining him under Head Coach Ömer "Basei" Onay will be toplaner , AD Carry Muhammed , support , and Vetheo in the midlane.

During the Spring Split, SU Esports finished fourth after falling to PCIFIC Esports in the playoffs. That roster featured several players familiar to ERL fans, including botlane duo and . Following the departure of most of that lineup, the organization has opted for a fresh direction, building around an established European veteran alongside two Korean imports.

Without a team since the end of his stint with last year, Vetheo has not played an official match since October 12, when his team was eliminated by Los Ratones at the EMEA Masters. After a few months without sharing any updated, Vetheo announced in April this year that he was once again looking for a team after taking what he described as a necessary break from professional play.

The opportunity with SU Esports came at the right time for the French midlaner. The organization had initially planned to build its roster around AD Carry Lim "ToongE" Ho-seon alongside a Turkish midlaner. However, after failing to find a Turkish candidate who fully met their expectations for the role, SU Esports shifted its plans. The team eventually opted to bring in Vetheo as its midlaner while securing a more suitable Turkish player for the bot lane, with Kakarot joining as the AD Carry.

The remainder of the roster features IlllIma, a Korean toplaner who previously competed in the TCL in both 2024 and 2025. He was prefered to another Korean toplaner known by LFL fans; . In the support position, Patch also brings valuable experience from the Turkish league despite also coming from Korea originally. AD Carry Kakarot, who most recently played for DEER Gaming in the NLC, completes the lineup. With Misa Esports disbanding and their dominance over the TCL coming to an end, SU Esports could emerge as one of the league’s strongest contenders heading into the Summer Split.
