Vertigo is back in the LFL after a split in the TCL
Maximilian "Vertigo" Rassi is set to join Joblife in the Ligue Française de League of Legends (LFL), sources tell Sheep Esports on Thursday. The 22-year-old Austrian toplaner is returning to the LFL with JL, after representing Vitality.Bee in the first two splits of the year. He then joined Beşiktaş Esports for the Summer split in the TCL.
If the final piece of Joblife’s puzzle took time to fall into place, it was for good reason. The team was in the race to sign Panagiotis "Empyros" Tantis and Francesco "Shelfmade" Cardia, both of whom were also being considered by Fnatic in the LEC. They also explored the option of Mehdi "Potent" Ahmed Bouchaffra, who had previously represented the organization during the LFL Division 2 Summer 2024 split. The Algerian toplaner ultimately ended up joining Vitality.Bee.
Joblife’s roster is now complete, having only needed a toplaner. As announced by team owner Toma "Tomy" Abdellaoui on Twitch, Marcel "Shift" Bąk and Paweł "Czekolad" Szczepanik join the team in jungle and midlane, respectively. Sheep Esports had previously reported the addition of the all-Greek botlane, Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos and Nikos "HungryPanda" Nikolaidis.
An Ambitious Roster
With this roster, Joblife’s ambition is clear: fight for the top spots in the LFL and qualify for the EMEA Masters. After a mixed first year in the French first division — finishing 7th–8th at Flash-In, ninth in Spring, and eighth in Summer — the team will aim higher in 2026 with a fairly experienced lineup.
Comp, soon turning 24, has already made his mark in the LEC as well as in the LFL last year with Gentle Mates. He is joined by an experienced support, a Summer EBL champion, and by Czekolad in the midlane, a familiar face in the league with past stints at GameWard and BK ROG Esports. The only younger player on the roster is the jungler: at just 20 years old, Shift reached the Czech league finals and competed at the latest EMEA Masters with Entropiq.
Return to the LFL for Vertigo
Vertigo began his professional career with Austrian Force willhaben in the Prime League, moving through several teams in the league, including Eintracht Frankfurt — but most notably Eintracht Spandau, where he won the Prime League Spring Split and, more importantly, the EMEA Masters. He later joined Vitality.Bee for his first appearance in the LFL. After two splits, he was allowed to explore his options and went on to join Beşiktaş in the TCL.
