Objective Ascension for Valiant
On the verge of leaving League of Legends due to financial issues, Valiant has refocused on VALORANT and found two players for its roster for the Split 3 of the Challengers France. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, the French team brings in Timur “Razziss” Taisaev and Rikardo “WACKIE” Birjukov. Despite recently winning Split 2, the club has parted ways with Quentin “Juskay” Aubert, whose contract was not renewed, and Sylvain "Veqaj" Pattyn who recently joined Gentle Mates.
Valiant are now aiming for a national title with the addition of the Estonian Sentinel WACKIE. Having joined Joblife at the start of the year, he went on to win the first Split of 2025 with his teammates before experiencing a more difficult second segment. That rough patch led his former team to let him explore other options, eventually landing him at Valiant. Prior to his time in France, WACKIE spent two years in Italy with Dsyre, where he won three out of the four Splits he played, only missing one title after losing in the Grand Final.
Heading to Ascension
To complete their roster, Valiant will also, according to our sources, secure the services of Razziss, a former player in the Challengers NORTH//EAST circuit. The Russian Duelist recently stood out during Split 2, where he and his teammates at Bitfix Gaming managed to secure third place and qualify for the EMEA Challengers. However, their European run was short-lived after losses to ULF Esports and KOI Academy. Razziss also brings a broad competitive background, having previously competed in both the German and Spanish leagues in 2024.
Valiant Split 3 Roster:
- Ilya "Anq" Matyash
- Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev
- Povilas "roxie" Krivelis
- Timur “Razziss” Taisaev
- Rikardo “WACKIE” Birjukov
