Construction may begin
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Hector “FrosT” Rosario has reached a verbal agreement to join Global Esports for the 2026 VALORANT VCT Pacific season. FrosT most recently served as head coach of Talon Esports in VCT Pacific and became available after Talon chose not to extend his contract at the end of the 2025 season. Talon also allowed assistant coach Jovanni “Jovi” Vera to explore options, and both coaches entered the offseason as free agents.
Global Esports evaluated multiple options for the head coach position. The organization also considered Yoon “Autumn” Eu-teum, who led T1 through 2024–2025 and won Masters Bangkok 2025 before leaving the organization in October. Autumn was approached by several teams and ultimately reached an agreement to become head coach of EDward Gaming for the 2026 VCT China season instead of moving to the Pacific region.
Rebuilding a project
FrosT arrives with experience at partnered-league level. He was brought in by Talon Esports as head coach after previous work in North America, including a spell with 100 Thieves in which he moved from analyst to coach and was part of the staff that lifted First Strike North America. With Talon, he oversaw the roster throughout the 2025 Pacific calendar and remained in place through the end of the season, publicly telling players that his contract was expiring and that his future with the team was uncertain. Talon later confirmed that his contract would not be renewed.
With this move, Global Esports aim to lock in the technical lead first and give themselves time to build a 2026 project around that coaching structure, with the objective of climbing out of the bottom of the table, qualifying for international events, and putting themselves back in the conversation for Pacific titles. Sheep Esports also recently reported on the recruitment of FPX player Kale “autumn” Dunne by Global Esports.
With these two signings, Global Esports has clearly announced the launch of its transfer window and continues to keep an eye on the market.
