A Dynasty in the Making
Founded in 2019, Team 7AM has come a long way in League of Legends esports. From its modest Open Tour Benelux days to being promoted to the Belgian League and eventually winning its first ESLOL championship in summer 2023, the organization has fought tooth and nail to rise as a major contender in the Benelux.
Today, after years of building itself, 7AM stands as a pillar of the Benelux region and aims to assert itself as the new uncontested champion of the ESLOL, especially following the departure of KRC Genk Esports. Boasting one of the highest budgets in the league, the team is now refreshing its roster in 2024 through the addition of several high-profile players with hopes of winning a second title back-to-back.
While the region has not known success in quite some time, sources tell Sheep Esports that 7AM's ambitions extend past regional success. Despite shocking the competition last year, the team fell short on the European stage, losing twice in a row in the EMEA Masters Play-Ins. With an insatiable hunger for success, the organization now aims to break the region's curse and finally advance to the tournament's main event for the first time since Defusekids in spring 2020.
Top - Luca "Looca" Hansen

Debuting his career in the Benelux, Looca will now be returning to his home region after spending more than a year abroad. Recently competing for Ramboot Club in the SuperLiga 2nd Div and PENTA 1860 in the Prime League, the player has been known for proficiency in different play-styles over his career. Able to play as a strong-side carry or a low-economy tank, he has quickly become one of the Netherlands' best top laners.
While he has only secured one championship in the summer of 2020, Looca has remained a highly sought-after talent within Benelux organizations. Last competing in the region with mCon esports, he narrowly missed a chance at claiming another title in the spring of 2022, only losing to GENK in the league's grand finals. The Dutch top laner would last appear in the Benelux with mCon in the summer split of 2022 before being bought out by PENTA 1860 mid-split.
Now re-joining the ESLOL, the 22-year-old player aims to redeem recent results abroad and establish himself as a local contender. Competing with Ramboot over the 2023 season, Looca peaked in the spring split, reaching 3rd place with his team. Unfortunately, in the summer split, the club decided to make changes to its roster after a shaky 5-6 start to the 2nd division's group stage. Replaced, Looca would finish the split watching from the sidelines as RBTE eventually ended in 8th position with a score of 7 wins and 11 losses.
Prior to joining 7AM, Looca was most known locally for his time in LowLandLions and Dynasty, the latter being the first organization he ever played for competitively.
Jungle - William "Sn1lle" Andersson

The last two years have been marked by success for the Swedish jungler. Competing first with Nativz in the NLC 2nd Division, and later with Partizan Esports in the Balkan League (EBL), Sn1lle dominated almost all tournaments he attended. Sticking with the same four teammates for almost two years, the jungler quickly established himself both in and outside of his home region, a feat he will attempt to replicate once more.
In January 2022, the Swedish jungler joined Nativz and quickly caught the attention of several teams throughout the year. Winning back-to-back splits of the NLC 2nd Division, the player assisted the organization in promoting to the region's 1st Division. This achievement was realized by defeating MNM Gaming, an organization Sn1lle had helped qualify for the NLC in late 2021.
The year after, Partizan Esports found the chance to sign the entirety of the former lineup. Now moving to the EBL, Sn1lle entered a region he had never competed in before. Soon, he would prove his proficiency among higher competitions and even win the spring championship with his team. Partizan came one game away from qualifying for the EMEA Masters Main Event, losing to LFL representatives AEGIS in play-in knockouts.
Moving to the summer split, Partizan quickly swept through the EBL group stage, securing first place and a spot at the EMEA Masters. Unfortunately, the organization eventually failed to adapt and faltered, losing two back-to-back matches in the playoffs and ending in third place. Back at the EMEA Masters, the team failed to retrieve its past strengths, falling in the play-in's group stage.
Mid - Jonas "Knighter" Bryder Jensen

Perhaps one of the team's most interesting additions, the Danish mid-laner has had his fair share of noteworthy squads in recent years. First beginning his career in local Danish Leagues in 2019, Knighter has had a roller-coaster of a career ever since. Most known for competing under MAD Lions' academic lineup, the player attended the 2022 World Championship as the team's substitute, receiving coaching from both James "Mac" MacCormack and Patrick "Pad" Suckow-Breum.
While not boasting a great track record in the SuperLiga, Knighter has delivered serviceable performances while competing there. With two full years of experience under his belt, the mid laner has learned a lot during his time in the Iberian peninsula. While his early days with the team proved successful, his legacy with the MAD Lions was tarnished by his 2022 season. Reaching two back-to-back 9th places, they were relegated that year.
Since then, Knighter has moved back to the NLC. First competing with Ruddy Esports in the spring of 2023, Knighter impressed many in the league's group stage, where his team ended with a score of 11 wins and 3 losses. Unfortunately, Ruddy Esports struggled in the playoffs, losing its first elimination match against Verdant. Soon after, the mid laner joined his nemesis in the summer split. One of the league's most dominant teams, Verdant reached first place in the group stage before disappointingly finishing 3rd in the playoffs, missing out on an EMEA Masters appearance.
Now moving to the Benelux, he hopes to break his recent streak of bad luck and rise up to the competition, with the aspiration of winning his first championship since summer 2020, during which he won the PG Nationals.
Bot - Jakob "Bung" Gramm

Struggling in recent years, Bung is entering 7AM with a lot to prove. Beginning his career as "D3RK1NG155", the bot laner has experienced mixed results in ERLs. Most notable for his PG Nationals championship win in 2021 with Macko Esports, he has navigated through several major league teams in the last two years.
Initially joining WAVE Esports in late 2021, Bung competed in his home region for a year before moving outside of the Prime League. Playing in the Pro Division (later known as the 1st Division), Bung failed to leave a mark, concluding his two respective splits with the team in 8th and 10th positions.
Soon after, the bot laner found his way to the LFL, one of the most prestigious EMEA Regional Leagues. Joining Oplon in the summer of 2022, he evolved within a new organization, fighting his way through some of the best players in semi-professional leagues. Unfortunately, the team struggled once more. Finishing in 9th place, Bung had to fight his way back through the league's promotion tournament for the second time in a row. Fortunately, he succeeded in earning Oplon's spot back in the LFL, just as he did for WAVE previously.
Attempting once more to redeem his past results, Bung then joined Izi Dream. Paired with Elton "Twiizt" Richie Garcia Spetsig once more, the bot lane felt hopeful going into the 2023 season. History would sadly repeat itself despite strong additions to the team's roster. With a cumulative score of 3 wins and 15 losses, the organization found itself in 10th place.
Now moving down to a smaller league, Bung hopes to deliver strong performances and show that his level is more than enough for a league like the ESLOL. Reaching upwards of 1032 LP on the ranked ladder, he remains a formidable prospect who should not be underestimated. Refreshed after a one-split break, Bung is ready to make 2024 his most successful year yet.
Support - Fabian "Seal" de Lint

Following a similar trajectory to Looca, Seal will be returning to the Benelux after a 2-year absence. Having commenced his career with the LowLandLions in 2021, the Dutch support first experienced success in one of the earliest iterations of KRC Genk Esports that same year. Since then, he has played abroad, where he became most known for his tenures with SK Gaming Prime and FC Schalke 04 Esports.
Initially competing in the Dutch and Belgian Leagues, Seal swiftly ascended through the EMEA Regional Leagues. Joining Wizards in early 2022, he had his first experience abroad in the SuperLiga 2nd Division. Replaced mid-way through the split, the Dutch support's tenure in the league would be relatively short, prompting him to explore other opportunities.
Soon enough, Seal's career would know a turning point as he joined SK Gaming. Playing alongside fellow Dutch top laner Alois "Alois" Nelissen, Seal secured a 2nd-place finish in the Prime League's group stage in the summer of 2022. Despite slipping to 3rd place in the playoffs, the team qualified for the EMEA Masters. There, Seal and his squad battled through the play-in to reach the main event. Unfortunately, the team struggled in the group stage, being eliminated without reaching the knockout stage.
This year, the Dutch support joined the former LEC team Schalke 04. Despite a strong start and a 3rd place in the spring group stage, the team soon exhibited weaknesses, ultimately losing in the first round of the playoffs stage. Summer proved challenging for Seal and his team. Despite retaining all five members of its roster, S04 was unable to redeem itself in the latter half of 2023, eventually losing in the playoffs stage without securing a single win.
Despite these setbacks, Seal has remained a support worthy of the Prime League throughout his tenure. Now returning to his home region at 22 years old, the player will have to climb his way back up. Through this new signing, Seal hopes to win his first-ever championship with 7AM.
Rising Expectations
To complement these talented players, per sources, Team 7AM has reportedly signed agreements with former Verdant Head Coach Harry "ATN" Sandford and Manager Nicklas "Danskmand" Carstensen, according to sources. Last year, Manager Nicklas attended the ESLOL 2023 Summer Finals, helping 7AM behind the scenes to secure their first championship in the Benelux region. With this move, the manager will officially step down from his position at Verdant and transition into the role of full-time manager for the organization.
During their tenure with Verdant, the duo achieved a second-place finish in the NLC during the spring split. Later, they would reach the first position in the summer group stage, only to finish in third place in that split's playoffs. Together, the two also assisted Verdant in winning the NLC Aurora Cup in November. As a seasoned duo, they aim to replicate their past successes and contribute to 7AM's continued upward trajectory in recent years.
