Oscure spent 2025 without a team
Barça eSports reunites with an old friend. After a year spent with Alexandru "whiteinn" Kolozsvari, the Catalan club revamped its project during the offseason. They thus reunite with Víctor "Oscure" Guzmán Fernández, who will be their support in 2026, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. He had already played with them in 2024 during the entire Summer Split, where they finished second in Superliga, and reached the round of 16 of the EMEA Masters that split.
Oscure is a player who specializes in engage supports. With a lot of Rell, Rakan, Leona, and Nautilus games in his career over the past few years, he naturally carries a high Kill Participation and is very effective in skirmishes. He has already made his return with the club very recently, in the Iberian Cup 2025, where they exited in the quarterfinals at the first round against LUA Gaming with a roster already largely revamped.
Returning to the old formula
This definitely closes the crazy year for the club and its 2025 roster. A year made of very high highs and very low lows. With a very competitive roster, they started the year with a second place at Winter and a title at Spring, which even led them to compete in the final round of EMEA Masters that split, which they lost against Los Ratones, relentless throughout the year.
But in Summer, after letting Francisco "Thayger" Mazo join Natus Vincere in LEC and welcoming Doğukan "113" Balcı as a replacement, as he's been catapulted from the LEC following Team BDS's poor performance, and the club’s results fell off. Far from the domination in Spring, they collapsed and finished 8th in Superliga, but still accumulated enough championship points to play the Superliga Final Four and attend the last EMEA Masters of the year, where they did not shine.
The club thus let go of its five players who were free agents and launched a new project from scratch. With a glimpse shown at the Iberian Cup 2025, Oscure will now be joined by the toplaner Eric "selenex" Lozano Gutiérrez, the jungler Luis "Koldo" Pérez, and the midlaner Sergio "Macaquiño" Bouzende Rodrigues, who have all been reported by Sheep Esports. Together, they’ll look to build on the momentum of the 2025 run as Oscure reconnects with his roots from two years ago.
