Disgrace continues KOI Fénix project
Disgrace joined the organization ahead of the 2025 Summer Split, returning to a familiar environment after previously coaching Movistar KOI in Superliga during the 2024 season. His comeback coincided with the arrival of the jungle–support duo Tiago "Time" Almeida and Tomislav "Thomas" Nanjara from Veni Vidi Vici, as KOI Fénix looked to rebuild after two disappointing splits.
Now, after stabilizing the team atmosphere and guiding a relatively young roster through a challenging season, Disgrace will continue leading KOI’s talent development heading into 2026. Before joining KOI full-time, the Spanish coach worked as an assistant at Movistar Riders during their LVP title-winning campaigns in 2023.
Fénix looking toward stability
After several roster changes and short rebuild cycles over the last months, Movistar KOI Fénix now seems focused on stability and internal growth heading into 2026. Keeping Disgrace — who has already built a strong rapport with the current player core.
During a stream on the KOI channel, Ibai Llanos announced that the Spanish team is planning to implement a model similar to that used by Karmine Corp in the ERLs. Based on several academies within the multiple ecosystems of the ERLs, it will be led by Tomás "Melzhet" Campelos Fernández with the aim of developing young talent.
