AD Carry Victor "Flakked" Lirola Tortosa will no longer be part of Team Heretics next year, sources tell Sheep Esports. After three years within the Spanish organization, the player will be replaced next season, marking the end of a chapter in Team Heretics’ history.

With his contract expiring at the conclusion of this season, Flakked’s position within the team was no longer guaranteed. Sheep Esports had previously reported that the organization was considering multiple profiles while remaining in discussions with Flakked about a potential extension. Ultimately, he will leave the team, following a decision taken by the new coaching staff formed by Jonas "Hidon" Vraa and Emre “Arkhe” Akpınarlı.

Three Possible Replacements

Three names remain under consideration for the new AD Carry position. The first is Yoon "Ice" Sang-hoon. With his contract with Team BDS coming to an end, the Korean player — who delivered solid performances during the 2024 season — could find a new home in the LEC after a challenging year with the Swiss organization.

The second candidate is Thomas "3XA" Foucou. Considered by several LEC teams following his recent victory at the EMEA Masters, the Frenchman could make his return to the European league after leaving SK Gaming at the end of the 2024 Spring Split.

The final candidate is believed to be a new Korean import who has yet to make his debut in the LEC: Park "Paduck" Seok-hyeon. The player has previously competed in the LCK with DRX and appeared in several matches for KT Rolster this year. He may soon arrive in Europe as part of Team Heretics’ new project.

A big turn in Heretcis's project

Flakked's departure is a major change in the history of Team Heretics. The player has been on the LEC roster since the Summer split 2023. It was also during this split that Heretics achieved their best performance since joining the LEC with a fourth-place finish. Subsequently, he would experience two different projects while always being at the center of the roster. With his identity as a Franchise player, the Spanish team even dedicated their latest League of Legends Emote integrated into the game with a Draven imitating his pose with his fingers. Team Heretics continues to build their new roster after the addition of Tolga "Serin" Ölmez and a new coaching staff.
