FBI is joining his fifth different LCS team
Dignitas has opened up. Ian Victor "FBI" Huang joins Dignitas in the League Championship Series (LCS). The 26-year-old Australian AD Carry will therefore enter his eighth year in North America, having previously played for several NA teams such as Golden Guardians and 100 Thieves. He also made four Worlds appearances.
None of the teams FBI has played for still exist. He began his career with Sin Gaming in the OPL, spent a year with ORDER, then joined Bombers, with whom he won Split 1 in 2019 and qualified for his first international event, the Mid-Season Invitational.
He was scouted by Golden Guardians and joined their academy roster in the Summer Split before being promoted to the LCS, where he played the entire 2020 season. In 2021, he moved to 100 Thieves and won the LCS Championship, qualifying for the first Worlds of his career in Reykjavik, followed by a second appearance in 2022.
In 2023, he joined Evil Geniuses for Spring and later NRG for Summer, winning the split and qualifying for Worlds once again. That run would become the peak of his career so far, as the team pulled off a remarkable 3–1 finish in the Swiss Stage. The roster remained mostly intact the following year but failed to replicate the same success.
The Fate of the teams FBI has Played For
In 2025, he returned to 100T for a second stint. The team qualified for Worlds in China and opened their tournament in style with a win against LPL champions Bilibili Gaming, before hitting a brutal draw and dropping three straight games to Top Esports, Hanwha Life Esports, and T1.
All seven teams mentioned above share one unfortunate similarity: from Sydney to Los Angeles, every single one of them has since disappeared. 100 Thieves announced their withdrawal from League of Legends this year, NRG exited the scene last year, EG and Golden Guardians left in 2023, ORDER folded in 2022, Bombers disappeared in 2019, and SIN dropped out in 2018.
A Seasoned Player
Superstition aside, Dignitas is bringing in an experienced AD Carry capable of reaching a very high level and competing at the top of the table. An OPL champion in 2019, a two-time LCS champion, a three-time finalist, and a five-time international participant, FBI is a veteran player.
He now joins a historic organization in the North American scene, one that has been around since 2011 and the early IEM days. The team even competed in the LCK in 2012 and player the Worlds that same year. Over the years, the lineup has featured some of League of Legends’ most iconic players, Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen, Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon, and Jo "CoreJJ" Yong-in back when he was playing AD Carry.
The year 2025 wasn’t easy for the team: they finished top 5-6 in Split 1, not enough for the playoffs, saw similar results in Split 2 but made it to the playoffs, and ended up 7-8th in the Summer Split. The team will be aiming for better results in 2026 under the guidance of their new head coach, Simon "Swiffer" Papamarkos, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
