The team is ready to reclaim its throne.

North American team Disguised has locked its roster for the 2024 North American Challengers League (NACL). According to Sheep Esports sources, the team has reached agreements with jungler Perry, mid laner Young, bot laner Minui, and support Poome. As reported earlier this week, the team is also expected to welcome Tenacity as its top laner.

Full Disguised 2024 NACL Roster

Top Lane: Milan "Tenacity" Oleksij
Jungle: Perry Chen "Perry" Norman
Mid Lane: Young Ho "Young" Choi
Bot Lane: Mingshui "Daniel" "Minui" Zhang
Support: Philippe "Poome" Lavoie-Giguere
Head Coach: Nicholas "Inero" Smith

A Strong Core

Having secured the storied coach Nicholas "Inero" Smith this month, Disguised is poised to become one of the most interesting rosters to watch next year. Through the signing of established veterans and promising rookies, the team is expected to prove itself among the top contenders of the NACL in 2024. As previously reported on Sheep Esports, sources have indicated that the team was one of the most attractive of this off-season following their championship victory in summer of 2023.

Though the team's top laner Milan "Tenacity" Oleksij might steal the spotlight, the team is expected to field several other interesting prospects in the coming year:

Jungle - Perry Chen "Perry" Norman

Having begun playing League of Legends all the way back in 2012 at 7 years old, Perry is a player to watch heading into the next competitive season. Starting in 2021, the American jungler began his career in the amateur scene through Wildcard Gaming and AOE Esports. Securing impressive performances in his early career, Perry quickly began making heads turn when he won the 2021 LCS Scouting Grounds, even being named the tournament's "Most Improved Player".

Later competing with teams like Evil Geniuses Prodigy and Dignitas Academy, Perry amassed much experience in the LCS Proving Grounds before making his way to the NACL with Cincinnati Fear. Spending the entirety of the 2023 season on the team, he achieved 4th and 3rd place in respective splits of the league.

Mid - Young Ho "Young" Choi

Initially one of Golden Guardians' main considerations in the LCS, Young found himself team-less following the team's departure from the league. Regardless of the unfortunate circumstance in which the American mid laner found himself, he is now set to continue with Disguised after having already won the NACL 2023 Summer Playoffs with the team.

Impressive in his own right, Young has been a part of the developmental circuit for quite some years now. Peaking in 2023, he previously competed for several high-profile teams such as 100 Thieves Next, Radiance, AOE Esports, or even Golden Guardians in the LCS and in the NACL. The mid laner is considered to this day as one of the best players in his respective position and is expected to display the same levels of dominance he had last year.

Bot - Mingshui "Daniel" "Minui" Zhang

First picking up the game in 2014, Minui first found interest in LoL at 11 years old. Since then, the rookie bot laner has been hoping to make his way to professional play one day. First joining the amateur scene in 2021, Minui began his competitive endeavors along with Perry, whom he has also played with under the banners of AOE Esports and Cincinnati Fear later in his career.

Competing in the NACL last year, Minui has proved himself as a promising player in his position through reaching 3rd and 4th place in the league. With existing synergies and his own talents to showcase, the young player is set to provide a wildcard element to Disguised in 2024.

Support - Philippe "Poome" Lavoie-Giguere

Serving as the team's most experienced member, Poome will also be joining Disguised next year with the hopes of finding his way back to the LCS. Competing for 100 Thieves, CLG, and Dignitas, the Canadian support should be no stranger to LCS fans. With plenty of experience under his belt, it came as a surprise that such an experienced support would find himself team-less next year.

While the player's track record in the league has not been great over recent years, Poome has proved himself as a talented player during his time in North America. Now joining the NACL and Disguised, the player is expected to be a quintessential piece to his new team's puzzle and should serve as a catalyst to help his teammates shine.

At 24 years old, Poome will now be attempting to find a similar trajectory as fellow support player Tristan "Zeyzal" Stidam has had this off-season. Paired with strong rookies and other experienced players, the team is now poised to prove itself among the challengers league.
