Alaric played in two editions of the EMEA Masters, Summer 2024 with Rudy Esports and Summer 2025 with Rich Gang
Erwin "Alaric" Cader is set to join Karmine Corp Blue Stars in the Nexus League, formerly known as LFL Division 2. While only 19 years old, the Swedish-Polish support already has experience in the ERLs, having played for Rudy Esports in 2024 and for Rich Gang in 2025, both teams competed in the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC).
Originally, KCBS had a verbal agreement with 18-year-old Estonian support Richard "Richu" Anmann, as rumoured by KC Aron on X. The agreement was broken following the emergence of an old screenshot showing the player sending insulting and discriminatory messages in a LoL client DM. Although Richu publicly acknowledged his wrongdoing and issued an apology on social media, Karmine Corp ultimately chose to reverse its decision to sign the player and decided to pick Alaric instead.
Alaric had already been on Karmine Corp’s radar earlier in the offseason for their LFL team, but was ultimately considered a second option after Olivier “Prime” Payet was selected. In November, Alaric also took part in Karmine Corp’s tryouts for its third team competing in the Nexus League. While Richu was initially chosen following those trials, the position will now go to Alaric.
Already two EMEA Masters participations
At the beginning of 2024, Alaric began his career in Hitpoint 2nd Division with Maverix, reaching the Spring finals. In the Summer, he moved directly to a first-division NLC team, Ruddy Esports, with whom he reached the grand final but lost 3-2 to Venomcrest Esports. This also gave him his first participation in the EMEA Masters, which ended at the Swiss stage with a 2-4 record.
In 2025, he did not play in the Spring split but joined a team in the Summer with Rich Gang. The team finished third and participated in the EMEA Masters, marking Alaric’s second appearance, where they were eliminated in the Last Chance Qualifier by Forsaken. In November, he also took part in the Iberian Cup with Los Heretics.
In Solo Queue, Alaric is currently near the 1,000 LP mark and previously peaked at 1,348 LP in Challenger. He is particularly known for his signature Zac support pick, while also boasting a wide champion pool that includes Rell, Rakan, and Sona.
As a reminder, in the Winter split, all Division 2 teams will participate in the LFL Invitational. Alaric will therefore have the chance to face the top supports from the best ERL, as well as the invited teams taking part in the tournament, such as Raphaël "Targamas" Crabbé and his team, French Flair. If KCBS manages to pull off a surprise and finish among the top two non-LFL teams, they could very well spend the rest of the year in the LFL.
