The Turkish jungler will play in the TCL for the first time in his career
Jungler Doğukan "113" Balcı is set to join Papara SuperMassive in the TCL for the Summer Split 2025, sources tell Sheep Esports on Tuesday. After two splits in the LEC, the Turkish jungler has agreed with Team BDS to step away from the team and will play in the Turkish Championship League (TCL) for the first time in his career, returning to the organization where he was part of the academy roster back in 2020.
Although 113 remains under contract with Team BDS, he has reached a verbal agreement with Papara SuperMassive. A formal deal is expected to be signed at a later stage, as BDS has granted him the freedom to explore opportunities.
Taking Over the Position of Skeanz
With this move, jungler Duncan "Skeanz" Marquet is being moved to Papara SuperMassive’s inactive roster. However, it is likely that he will find a new team. During the last offseason, a team from the LFL already attempted to buy out Skeanz, though the deal ultimately did not go through. Given his French residency, he remains an appealing option for several teams from the region. With jungle roles currently open on Team BDS and potentially other LEC rosters, this could spark a series of jungle-related roster changes across the ERLs.
A SuperMassive Failure
Papara SuperMassive started the year on a high note by winning the TCL Winter Split, securing a spot at EMEA Masters. Despite being eliminated in the quarterfinals, the team put up a competitive performance against eventual champions Los Ratones, narrowly losing 2–3.
However, the team struggled in the Spring Split, finishing seventh in the standings and missing the playoffs. This underperformance was partially influenced by the situation surrounding AD Carry Jeong "BAO" Hyeon-woo. The South Korean player was unable to compete due to visa issues, remaining stuck in his home country. Skeanz, similarly, had to compete abroad under challenging circumstances.
The team is expected to undergo more changes around 113 during the offseason.
A look back on 113's career
At just 20 years old, 113 began his career in 2020 with SuperMassive Academy, where he played alongside his most recent support, Polat "Parus" Furkan. He later joined Giants in the LVP and won the 2021 Summer Split, before signing with Karmine Corp in 2022. With KC, he claimed the EMEA Spring title but had a less successful Summer— that year was his first time working under coach Yanis "Striker" Kella. His strong performance with KC earned him a shot in the LEC with Astralis, though the stint didn’t go as planned. In 2024, he returned to the LFL with BK ROG Esports for Spring, placing fifth.
That same split saw Linas "Lyncas" Nauncikas move up to the LEC with Team Vitality from Karmine Corp Blue. Not long after, 113 made his return to KC for Summer 2024 where he lost both the LFL finals and the EMEA Masters quarterfinals to BDS Academy, 3-1 in both series. By the end of 2024, as the offseason heated up and jungle spots became highly contested in the LEC, 113’s overall solid year attracted interest. BDS and Striker— in search of a new jungler to replace Théo "Sheo" Borile —moved quickly to sign him early in the transfer window.
A tough return to the LEC
Unfortunately, things didn’t go as hoped. BDS barely made playoffs in Winter before being eliminated by Fnatic, and Spring proved even more disappointing as the team failed to qualify, finishing 8th with a 3-6 record. The Swiss team is now looking for a new jungler, as recently reported by Sheep Esports. Various junglers, including LEC and ERL profiles, are currently being considered, per Sheep Esports sources.

A quick look at his stats so far this year shows that 113 has stayed true to his reputation. Even when BDS struggled and little seemed to click, his aggressiveness and hyperactivity on the map remained. He ranked third among LEC junglers in both damage per minute and kill participation. And while he was among the lowest in gold generation, he had the highest damage-to-gold ratio. 113 may not have been the best jungler in the LEC this year, but he certainly didn’t go unnoticed.
