For the past few months, Kim “
” Su-hwan had been tied with the players holding the most pentakills in professional
League of Legends history. Today, Wednesday, May 13, he became the sole leader of that ranking after securing his 13th career pentakill against Nongshim RedForce on Ashe, his very first on the champion.
His champion with the most pentakills remains Kai'Sa with five to his name, followed by Zeri with two. Ashe, Ezreal, Varus, Smolder, Kalista, and Xayah all follow with one each. Peyz has now recorded at least two pentakills with every team he has played for: nine with Gen.G, two with JD Gaming, and two with T1.
At just 20 years old, Peyz now leads the all-time
pentakill record, an impressive achievement for a player who still has nearly a decade ahead of him. He is also one of only two players to have recorded a pentakill in a Mid-Season Invitational final, doing so in 2024. The other is Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun, who achieved it in 2021 for DWG KIA against Royal Never Give Up.

T1 are currently fourth in the LCK standings at 9–4, behind HLE, Gen.G, and KT Rolster. Their victory against Nongshim RedForce further deepens their opponents’ struggles. Despite the arrival of Nam “
Diable” Dae-geun, NS remain near the bottom of the standings in 8th place with a 4–9 record. On Saturday, May 16, fans will get a world-class clash as T1 face Gen.G.
