Worlds 2025 is the next international tournament on the competitive League of Legends roadmap. As usual, it features top teams from various major leagues worldwide. The kickoff for this year's edition is set on October 14 with Play-in stage while the final will be held on November 9 at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu, China in front of 18.000 people.

The competition heads to China, marking the third time China has hosted Worlds and the first to feature the Fearless Draft format. The tournament globally maintains a format similar to previous years, with the only difference being that Play-In wiill only be a decider match between LPL and LCK's 4th seeds to decide which will join the main event. The Play-In and Swiss Stage of the tournament take place at the Beijing Smart Esports Center (2000 people capacity), while the knockout stages will be held in Shanghai (18.000 people capacity) before culminating in Chengdu.

The five major regions - LCK (South Korea), LPL (China), LEC (EMEA), LTA (Americas), and LCP (Asia-Pacific) will send their top teams to compete for the Summoner's Cup. Including play-in, seventeen teams will qualify based on placement within their regional leagues and results gained in the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).
