Delight is the third player locked by the organization
On Friday, November 21, Hanwha Life Esports officially announced the contract extension of their support player, Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong, on their social media. He has re-signed for an additional year, marking his third consecutive season with one of the top LCK clubs of recent years.
However, for the first time in three years, Delight will not be paired on the botlane with Park "Viper" Do-hyeon, who was officially announced as departing the team earlier. Instead, the organization is expected to conclude one of the biggest moves of the transfer season by signing Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong, the current triple world champion with T1.
A true Delight
The HLE project is taking shape. Many rumors circulate through Korean media, and while the roster is largely anticipated, it is not yet fully official. So far, it is confirmed that Choi "Zeus" Woo-je will remain on the toplane, Kim “Zeka” Geon-woo has also extended his contract for another year, and Delight stays on as well.
Surrounding these three world-class players are expected to be Gumayusi on the botlane and a highly experienced jungler, regarded among the best in the world in his role, coming from the LPL. The 2026 plan clearly aims to compete for the title and challenge the league’s top teams like Gen.G, which is keeping its roster, and T1, which only changed its botlaner to sign Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan.
In 2025, Delight and his teammates won the LCK Cup and the First Stand 2025 undefeated. Although they became somewhat inconsistent and less synchronized at points during the regular season, they still finished comfortably in second place, losing ultimately to the powerhouse Gen.G.

- Toplane: Choi "Zeus" Woo-je
