At the end of the day, six teams qualified for playoffs will be known
The fourth day of the EMEA Masters Summer 2025 has delivered its first verdict, with two teams already qualified for the 16-team playoff stage: Vitality.Bee and Berlin International Gaming. The latter handed impressive Partizan Sangal their first defeat of the tournament, putting an end to their strong winning streak against some of the top contenders.
We also now know the first two teams eliminated from the competition: Colossal Gaming and Gamespace MCE, both of whom failed to win a single series and ended their season at this stage. Among the other favorites, Karmine Corp Blue regained confidence by beating ULF Esports to move up to 2-2. They are joined at 2-2 by Galions, Barça eSports, and Los Heretics, all three coming off losses this Thursday and still struggling to convince at the start of the tournament.
Four teams to qualify today
On Friday, October 3, four more teams will punch their ticket to playoffs. Back-to-back champions Los Ratones face the TCL winners Misa Esports. Verdant, one of the tournament’s biggest surprises so far, are also on the verge of qualifying and will meet Gentle Mates, currently one of the strongest French squads in the field despite having a replacement toplaner, Mehdi "Potent" Bouchaffra, who continues to impress despite the challenging circumstances under which he has been playing.
ROSS Centaurs get a second chance at reaching the top 16, this time against Spanish champions GIANTX Pride, while the final match of the day pits Arabian League champions Geekay Esports against Partizan in another direct battle for qualification. At the bottom of the standings, eight teams are also fighting for survival, including Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition, Team Phantasma, and ULF Esports.
