The LCS summer 2024 playoffs are currently in progress. They will crown NA's next League of Legends champion on September 7. Out of the eight teams that participated in the regular season, six have advanced to the playoffs: Dignitas, 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, NRG, Team Liquid and Cloud9.

FlyQuest defeats Team Liquid

The LCS playoffs have been played in a double elimination bracket with the first two seeds TL and Cloud 9 getting a bye to Round 2, which means that everyone has a chance to lose. Team Liquid have been taken the spotlight, looking very good after a strong win over 100 Thieves backed by an excellent regular season. After their win against C9, FlyQuest joined TL in the Winner's Finals but Liquid won this best-of-five 3-2 to reach the Grand Final.

FlyQuest has then been send to the Losers' Bracket Finals, where they gave a lesson to 100T which had just qualified to Worlds after defeating Cloud9 3-1 in the previous round. FLY will then get a rematch against TL in the grand final and upset the spring split champions 3-1 after an amazing base race lead by winions in game 4. FlyQuest become the 8th organization to win LCS and will advance to Worlds as #1 seed.
