The Benelux league rosters have started to be revealed. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Senshi eSports have secured two French players: Iliane “Ilyxou” Bessa in the toplane and Romain “Guertas” Polo in the jungle. With these additions, Senshi have secured a fully French topside.
The 2025 champions return
Senshi eSports are none other than the reigning Season Finals winners of the Road of Legends. While the team could not replicate Zennit’s success at EMEA Masters, the summer edition was arguably the toughest of 2025. In their final series, they fell 1–2 to Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition, narrowly missing out on a playoff spot.
Senshi will face new competition this year. Indeed, the league will welcome three new organizations in 2026: Dynasty, as announced by the league last December, as well as The Bandit, winners of the promotion tournament, and a third new organization named "Frites Esports Club".
Topside completed
Despite coming from France, Guertas has become a true Benelux veteran. Over four competitive years in the league, he has played for several established teams in the region, including KRC Genk Esports, ZenniT, and mCon Esports, where he spent the 2025 season. During that time, he claimed two Elite Series titles (formerly ESLOL, now ROL) with GENK in 2022 and 2023.
Ilyxou adds another league to his résumé after competing in the French amateur circuit (Nexus Tour), followed by appearances in the Iberian Cup. In 2025, he played in the Italian league (LIT) with GMBLERS—qualifying for EMEA Masters in Spring—before joining Portugal’s LPLOL in Summer. During this transfer window, Ilyxou tried out for numerous teams across Europe before choosing to join Senshi eSports in the ROL. In 2025, he peaked just under 1000 LP in SoloQ.
