According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, Clément "
CyvOph" Millard has reached a verbal agreement to join
Fnatic for the remainder of Stage 1, replacing Sylvain "
Veqaj" Pattyn. The latter, who joined the British organization for this
VCT EMEA season, had already been forced to step down at the last minute before the last match
due to health issues and is therefore not expected to return to competition immediately.
Without a team since the start of 2026, CyvOph is now set to return to competition in the VALORANT Champions Tour, the highest level of Riot Games’ FPS. Still under contract with Team Vitality following his stint with the French organization between March and July, he is therefore logically leaving the bench to join Fnatic. Having played for several teams within the French scene, he notably made a name for himself with Mandatory in Challengers France.
A second shot in VCT EMEA for CyvOph
With Vitality, he was unable to showcase his full potential. Joining ahead of Stage 1 in 2025, CyvOph helped the French organization reach the playoffs, before being eliminated immediately by FUT Esports. He then competed in the EMEA qualifier for the Esports World Cup, where they finished Top 7-8, well short of the two qualifying spots for the tournament in Saudi Arabia.
He quickly bounced back with Joblife in the French VALORANT league, on loan from Vitality. With JL, he secured a title by winning Stage 3, before missing out on qualification to the VCT EMEA through Ascension, where they failed to make it past the group stage with one win and two losses.
He now joins Fnatic as a replacement, potentially at the last minute. After missing out on qualification for Masters Santiago, the British organization has bounced back strongly at the start of Stage 1, with four wins in four matches. Just hours before their match against GIANTX, FNC announced on X that Casper "Desmo" Rasmussen, assistant coach, would step in for Veqaj for the match. According to the post, the organization explained that the French player “has had a health issue and as precaution & to allow him to recover we're substituting him out for this matchup. Join us in sending him your best wishes.”
