berryx and wens have been competing under the
BLVKHVND banner, involved in Game Changers EMEA, within the same starting five since the beginning of the year. Before joining BLVKHVND as a Duelist, berryx briefly represented
BBL Queens in 2024, before the team’s disbanding, thereby entering the official women’s
VALORANT circuit in Europe from the outset of her career.
wens, for her part, already boasts one of the most impressive resumes in the Game Changers EMEA ecosystem. She developed and rose to prominence at BBL Queens, winning VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 against Acend Rising. Tokameite and Marti both competed under the Twisted Mind banner. Together, they reached the grand final of the 2025 Game Changers EMEA Stage 3, falling against G2 Gozen.
The duo was just one game away from qualifying for the Game Changers Championship. Nami, for her part, is a veteran of the scene known for her performances at NASR Ignite, where she made a name for herself after working on several projects. GIANTX chose her as a replacement after a player was unable to play, and she recently worked with Zerance Mint.
Announced during the Keynote
During their 2026 Keynote held at the end of November, Gentle Mates officially announced their entry into the VCT Game Changers ecosystem, alongside other major initiatives such as the creation of a club-branded TCG and further expansion into additional titles. The organization confirmed that it was working on building a fully female VALORANT roster, expected to compete in the Game Changers EMEA league as early as 2026, with a lineup that has not yet been revealed publicly and is described as still under construction for the upcoming season.
In parallel with its return to VCT EMEA with a new men’s roster for 2026, Gentle Mates have therefore clearly signaled their intention to develop a women’s section benefiting from a level of support comparable to that of their main team. In this context, the arrival of two players already established at the top of Game Changers, berryx and wens, would align with the logic of an ambitious project: a roster currently being assembled, shaped by an active offseason and a pool of available players following the 2025 Game Changers Championship, and designed to allow Gentle Mates to compete quickly with the leading teams in the EMEA region.
