VALORANT Esports EMEA has confirmed the six invited VCT EMEA teams that will join the already
qualified VCL champions at the
EMEA Clash from
February 19 to 25: Team Vitality, GIANTX, Natus Vincere, Karmine Corp, ULF Esports, and FUT Esports. With the 12-team field now finalised, the tournament offers a direct point of comparison between Tier 1 infrastructure and Tier 2 momentum, in a format where each series can swiftly reshape the wider narrative.
The VCT invitees will enter the event under a familiar weight of expectation: to uphold the league’s standing and demonstrate that structure, depth, and experience continue to distinguish them from the regional ecosystem especially with BBL Esports, Gentle Mates, and Team Liquid set to represent EMEA at Masters Santiago.
Liquid, Heretics and Fnatic declined
That context matters, because the EMEA Clash is unfolding alongside a notable wave of opt-outs: Team Liquid, Team Heretics, and Fnatic all declined the invitation, with Riot emphasizing that participation was not mandatory. The event is designed precisely to interrogate the region’s hierarchy, placing established teams into a condensed battleground where adaptability can prove as decisive as raw mechanical ability.
With line-ups seeking to settle into coherent, repeatable systems and Challengers champions intent on validating their titles against stronger opposition, the tournament appears set to unfold with few concessions, and the list of VCL teams underscores that intent: Enterprise Esports (VCL NORTH//EAST), FOKUS (VCL DACH Evolution), UCAM Esports (VCL Spain: Rising), Team Stallions (VCL MENA Resilience), Joblife (VCL France: Revolution), and Beşiktaş Esports (VCL Türkiye: Birlik).
