As the competition continues to unfold at
Masters London and approaches its final stages, the English capital is increasingly embracing the atmosphere of the event. With the Copper Box Arena already sold out for the final four matches, which are set to begin on Friday, a new esports-focused venue is opening its doors to give fans another place to follow the action.
To immerse visitors in a distinctly British experience, Riot Games is launching a pub to organize the Masters London Fan Fest where
fans will be able to gather from June 19 to June 21. The venue, known as The Phoenix Arms, will open at Hackney Bridge following a collaboration between Riot Games and John Fisher, a British social media personality better known as “
Big John.”
Fully embracing British culture
Those familiar with British culture and traditional sports will already know the importance of pubs as gathering places where supporters come together on matchdays to watch games in a lively atmosphere while sharing drinks with friends or fellow fans. For the first-ever
VALORANT event hosted on English soil, Riot Games is therefore offering fans the opportunity to enjoy a similar experience in what is being presented as the world's first esports pub.
Throughout the weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy live podcasts, meet content creators, attend signing sessions, and take part in a free outdoor watch party. The goal is to transform Hackney Bridge into the official VALORANT Masters Fan Fest for Finals Weekend. The venue will feature team flags, themed memorabilia, and custom-designed signage, all intended to recreate the atmosphere of a traditional matchday gathering.
Few scenarios could provide a more fitting conclusion to Masters London than having one representative from each major region competing in the final four. Given the strong Chinese community presence in London throughout the event, EDward Gaming supporters are likely to be well represented at the venue, while Team Vitality fans will be eager to support the last remaining EMEA team. Meanwhile, Leviatán and Paper Rex both boast large international fanbases, ensuring that neither side will lack support. As a result, fans can expect an electric atmosphere both inside the arena and at The Phoenix Arms throughout the final weekend.
