On Tuesday, the Catalan side dispatched LUA Gaming in the first round of the lower bracket playoffs(3–1) — albeit in a less dramatic fashion than their reverse sweep against GIANTX Pride at the same stage three months prior. Barça once again dropped the opening game, but bounced back with a dominant performance in game two (final score: 19–4), driven by standout displays from Matti "WhiteKnight" Sormunen (7/0/6) and Paweł "Czekolad" Szczepanik (9/1/5).

The runners-up of the last two Superliga splits found themselves in a precarious position once more in game three, trailing by 4.4k gold at 15 minutes. However, Barça capitalized on an overcommitment from LUA, who lingered too long in their attempt to secure the T2 top. The ensuing teamfight swung the momentum back in Barça’s favor. LUA were entirely outmatched, and Barça delivered a near-flawless performance, conceding only a single death while accumulating 24 kills and losing just one turret. With Francisco "Thayger" Mazo in stellar form on Viego (11/0/9), Barça dominated from start to finish, securing a spot in the next round: the lower bracket final. There, they will face Los Heretics—three-time defending champions—who were defeated by GIANTX Pride in the upper bracket final last week.

Though two hurdles remain before Barça can claim their first Spanish championship—starting with a matchup against the team that denied them in the last two finals—their win on Tuesday ensures their participation in the EMEA Masters. The Superliga is among the six ERLs awarded three slots for the tournament, filled by GIANTX Pride, Los Heretics, and Barça eSports. Having entered the previous edition as the second seed, Barça will be eager to improve their showing to secure a more favorable group stage draw this time.
