On August 7, KeSPA, the Korea e-Sports Association, unveiled the jersey and outfits that its players will wear at the
2026 Asian Games, scheduled to take place in Japan from September 20 to October 4. For esports, all eleven games that will be played will take place at the Aichi International Exhibition Center, near Nagoya, in Aichi Prefecture. South Korea is therefore already guaranteed to compete in a large portion of these games, including
League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, and
Pokémon Unite.
Ceramics and esports
All players selected for the South Korean esports team will wear this official uniform, which the press release sent by KeSPA describes under the name “Aesthetics of Strength,” as being “inspired by traditional Korean ceramics,” and more specifically, “by the beauty of white porcelain and black-glazed ceramics.” According to the same press release, “the design combines the understated elegance of white porcelain with the bold presence of black-glazed ceramics, symbolizing the confidence and prestige of the Korean Esports National Team.”
In addition to the jersey, the Association and its apparel partner GOAL Studio, which is also a partner of T1, have unveiled a capsule collection “that reinterprets the uniform’s iconic elements and design language into lifestyle wear.” Behind the project, the collection is “designed to allow fans to experience the identity of Korean esports beyond the competitive arena and in their everyday lives.”
Lee “
” Sang-hyeok, Ryu “
” Min-seok, and Lee “
” Min-hyung, members of the Korean
League of Legends team, presented the collection. Choi "
" Woo-je, Kim "
" Geon-woo and Kim "
" Geon-bu round out the South Korean national team on LoL.
According to the press release, the goal is therefore to make both the 2026 Asian Games capsule collection and the official uniform available for purchase starting August 28. The outfits will be sold on GOAL’s official website, as well as at T1 BASECAMP Hongdae and Gen.G Gaming Xperience, located in Seoul’s Dongdaemun district.
adidas or GOAL for ENC?
It is also worth noting that the South Korean team is expected to unveil an outfit for the
Esports Nations Cup as well. The Esports Foundation, which is in charge of the event, announced adidas as the apparel partner for all participating nations at the end of July. The brand will therefore compete with GOAL, which is working with KeSPA, even though the Association is responsible for the South Korean national team. For now, only the
French national team’s adidas jersey has been unveiled, so it remains to be seen who will handle South Korea’s kit.
For now, Team Korea of esports has confirmed its participation for the
2026 Asian Games in
League of Legends, Honor of Kings, PUBG Mobile, and
Identity V, while some games have yet to announce their participants, including fighting games and
eFootball.
