During Game 1 of the Telecom War on January 23 between
T1 and
KT Rolster, Ryu “
Keria” Min-seok played
Lissandra as a support for the first time in his career, in a game won by the reigning world champions. This marked the 60th different champion played by Keria, a true monster of creativity and adaptation.
The pick came as a counter to Oh “
Pollu” Dong-gyu’s Rakan, who was later replaced by Jang “
Ghost” Yong-jun, arriving in Game 2. It had been nearly ten years since Lissandra support last appeared in the LCK, with the first two instances dating back to Spring 2016, played by Park “
Secret” Ki-sun and Kwon “
Wraith” Ji-min.
The two Lissandra support picks previously played in the LCK both resulted in losses—the first between SBENU Korea and CJ Entus, the second between Samsung Galaxy and CJ Entus as well. Looking at other leagues, in the LEC, Mihael “
Mikyx” Mehle is the only support in history to have played her, doing so twice at the 2023 Season Finals. In the LPL, Lissandra has been picked a total of five times, with only one win by Zuo “
LvMao” Ming-Hao.
This marks the 60th different champion played by Keria
throughout his career, an impressive display of versatility from the three-time world champion. Lissandra, however, remains far behind his most-played champions: 66 games on Nautilus with a 62% win rate, 65 games on Rakan with a 57% win rate, and 60 games on Braum with a 62% win rate, rounding out the top three.
T1 also won Game 2 in a completely insane scenario, coming back from over 10K gold down after scoring only one kill compared to KT’s 15. This massive comeback extended their undefeated streak in the LCK Cup to 3–0, tying them with Gen.G in the Group Baron.
