Vivo Keyd Stars' completed 2026 CBLOL roster

Coming off a respectable run at Worlds 2025 and a title in the LTA South, Vivo Keyd Stars return to the 2026 Campeonato Brasileiro de League of Legends (CBLOL) hungry for more, carrying the same ambitions as last year. With only one roster change—Hong Kongese support Ling “Kaiwing” Kai Wing replacing Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus, who returned to Europe—the organization worked diligently this offseason to renew the contracts of its remaining four players and coaching staff, aiming to build on recent success as it enters the third year of its “five-year plan.”

Expectations remain sky-high for the reigning Brazilian champions as they prepare to compete in the newly rebranded CBLOL. With several teams stepping up and assembling strong rosters of their own, VKS will look to lean on its experience and long-term vision, aiming to establish a dynasty and replicate its Summer 2025 success.

Despite minimal changes, VKS’ offseason was anything but uneventful. As reported in early November, Kaiwing was far from the team’s first choice for the 2026 season. While the roster ultimately found a fitting solution, VKS initially planned to extend Trymbi’s contract, hoping to retain its full lineup for another year. However, it soon became clear that Trymbi was looking to return to Europe, making his stay in Brazil unlikely for 2026.

With that in mind, the organization reached an agreement with former SK Gaming support Kim “Loopy” Dong-hyeon. Later that same month, Loopy broke the agreement in favor of returning to Korea to join Dplus KIA Challengers. Just two days after reports confirmed that Loopy would not be joining the team, VKS officially announced the signing of former CFO support Kaiwing.

Head coach Christopher “SeeEl” Lee later confirmed that the team had also explored other options, including LOUD support Ygor “RedBert” Freitas and former Beşiktaş Esports support Han “Patch” Seung-min, as potential candidates for the role.

Despite his age, Hong Kongese support Kaiwing remains a star in his role, coming off a top-eight finish at Worlds 2025 that marked the Asia-Pacific region’s best result at the tournament in the past ten years. While it remains to be seen how Kaiwing will perform in a full season outside his home region, communication should not be an issue, as he already speaks English, notably due to his cultural heritage. Kaiwing’s contract length has not been disclosed. When reaching out to clarify its length, a VKS spokesperson declined to comment, indicating the information would be shared at a later date.

A rare feat in League of Legends esports, Vivo Keyd Stars renewed the contracts of four players in a single offseason, along with three members of its coaching staff, securing a stable lineup through 2026 and 2027. Additionally, the organization has its three Brazilian residents—toplaner Felipe “Boal” Boal, jungler Pedro Arthur “Disamis” Gonçalves, and AD carry Matheus “Morttheus” Motta—signed through the end of 2028. This provides the team with a strong long-term foundation, regardless of how its latest signing pans out or whether star Korean midlaner Jeong “Mireu” Jo-bin, now under contract until 2027, attracts interest from other regions.

These moves align directly with the long-term vision repeatedly outlined by the team’s staff. SeeEl has consistently spoken of a five-year plan aimed at establishing domestic dominance while delivering strong international performances. Now entering its third year under Christopher Lee’s management, the organization’s investments appear to be paying off, as Vivo Keyd Stars continue their steady growth.

However, after tasting success for the first time, expectations are now high for the boys in purple. Anything less than a successful title defense and an international appearance could be viewed as a step back. Only time will tell whether VKS’ gambles will continue to pay off, but on paper, the organization has positioned itself as well as possible to remain on top.
