With the recent announcement of the exit of Brazilian support, Denilson “
" Oliveira,
will look to rely on a familiar face to tackle the 2026
League of Legends Championship Series (
LCS) Summer Split. According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, Tristan “
" Stidam is expected to fill the Rebels’ support position. Supernova’s support Ryan "
Zyko" Jung was also considered.
The team hopes to ride the momentum from their Spring Split playoff qualification and reproduce the form they developed during the end of the 2025 season. The Rebels have never qualified for an international competition and will look to break this streak by snagging a World Championship spot during the upcoming Summer Split.
Synergy and development
Synergy is the name of the game at the Rebels’ camp. This roster move will reunite the American support with two former teammates from the team’s inaugural LCS split: Head Coach Seong “
Reven" Sang-hyeon and Bot laner Ju “
" Yeong-hoon.
The team narrowly missed the playoffs in both the Spring and Summer splits, finishing in seventh place, back when Reven, Zeyzal, and Bvoy were teammates in 2024. Reven had previously worked with Zeyzal during their time as Assistant Coaches at Cloud9 in 2022 and at Cloud9 Challengers in 2023.
Zeyzal has not played during the 2026 season. His last team was Luminosity Gaming back in the 2025 North American Challengers League season. LG built a powerhouse roster that won back-to-back championships and faced Disguised in the Promotion Tournament. However, Zeyzal and LG were unsuccessful in the promotion series, losing 1-3 to DSG.
First ever
Ceos became the first Brazilian to sign with an American organization when Shopify Rebellion introduced him for the recently formed LTA North. He arrived in the north after a split with KaBuM! Esports in CBLoL, but was best remembered from his back-to-back-back championship wins with LOUD.
The first split was smeared after a struggle with visa issues, forcing the Brazilian to miss the LTA North Split 1 in its entirety, and the Rebels relied on Zeyzal as they sorted out their starter’s visa. After Ceos arrived, SR had a resurgence, finished two splits-in-a-row in Third place, and were close to qualifying for international competition.
After being allowed to look for opportunities with other teams, Ceos shared a short but heartfelt message towards his teammates, the organization, and the Rebels’ fanbase.
