Saudi Arabia is set to represent the Middle East region at the
Esports Nations Cup 2026, with a full lineup revealed by sources close to
Sheep Esports.
- Toplane: Hashem "" Baroum
- Jungle: Ajwad "" Wazzan
- Midlane: Abdulaziz "Oniikhan" Al Mubarak (also known as “Grunge”)
- ADC: Nawaf "" Al Jauid
- Support: Sahl "" Waggass
Saudi Arabia will also bring two substitutes to the event: midlaner Khalid “CHALEEED” Alzahrani and jungler Bader “Bader” Alotaibi.
An existing synergy
At first glance, Saudi Arabia enters the competition as a clear dark horse. While the Arabian League has steadily risen to a level comparable with some European Regional Leagues (ERLs) at EMEA Masters, none of the players on this roster have experience in a major league, nor on the international stage.
However, the lineup benefits from strong pre-existing synergy. Three players—Ajwad, Oniikhan, and Nawaf—have been playing together since the start of the year in the Saudi eLeagues under Stallions, the champions of the first split. The team featured five Saudi players, but due to tournament rules limiting full rosters from the same organization, Nawaf "Wufo" Alkhowaiter and Meshal "Mishal" Albarrak ultimately saw their teammates in other roles preferred for the final selection.
In the toplane, handm joins the squad as a key addition. A prominent figure of Baam Esports since 2024, he reunites with Ajwad, with whom he previously played that same year. He is also joined by sas in the botlane, another Baam Esports player who has been part of the organization since early 2026.
Despite their lack of international experience, this roster combines regional success with established player connections, making them a potentially dangerous contender on home soil.
For now, Saudi Arabia has 400 points, distributed as follows:
- handm (200 points)
- Ajwad (0 points)
- Oniikhan (0 points)
- Nawaf (0 points)
- sas (200 points)
- CHALEEED (0 points)
- Bader (0 points)
Given the total number of points accumulated by the other rosters already reported by
Sheep Esports, Saudi Arabia will have to compete in the MENA Qualifiers in order to qualifiy for the main event. However, even if they fail to reach Top 2 in the qualifiers, they could still earn their chance through the Wildcard spots.
