According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, Rishi
“RvK” Vijayakumar has reached a verbal agreement with
S8UL Esports for the upcoming 2026
VALORANT Challengers South Asia (VCSA) season. The Indian player is coming off a particularly packed 2025 campaign, which began under Orangutan in 2025 VCSA Split 1 and ended with a third-place finish at the Main Event. Following that first split, the entire roster was acquired by DOT EXE, which retained the RvK–Daivik
"deecee" Chauhan duo for the remainder of the circuit.
At the start of 2026,
RvK first joined Gods Reign as part of the organization’s
VALORANT return project. But the two parties ultimately reached a mutual termination agreement, after which he was replaced by Sagnik
“hellff” Roy. That separation has now paved the way for a new destination: S8UL Esports, which has capitalised on the opportunity to secure a profile already accustomed to high-stakes matches on the South Asian scene and capable of adding an extra layer of experience to a roster still being assembled for 2026.
For S8UL Esports, RvK’s arrival fit into the continuation of a build-up initiated in 2025. The Indian organisation competed throughout the Challengers South Asia circuit and, at the end of the season, confirmed its contender status by finishing second in the domestic Ascension Qualifiers, falling to Velocity in the race for the Pacific Ascension berth.
