Karmine Corp has finalized its roster for
KC Blue Stars, their third team set to compete in the
Nexus League (French second division). Their starting five was revealed during
a streamed scrim against French Flair on Monday and confirmed by sources speaking to Sheep Esports.
The lineup will feature:
- 🇫🇷 Alexis “Koala” Gonzalez (Top, 20)
- 🇷🇺 Oleg “Oleg” Karkachev (Jungle, 21)
- 🇱🇧 Hamza “Panda2” Siala (Mid, 18)
- 🇩🇪 Rocco “looki” Palfi (ADC, 19)
- 🇸🇪 Erwin “Alaric” Cader (Support, 19)
Previously reported by Sheep Esports, Panda2 and Alaric are joined by Koala, Oleg, and looki to complete a roster with an average age of around 19, aligning with Karmine Corp’s objective of developing young talent.
While KC initially outlined strict age criteria when opening applications for the project, some flexibility was applied, particularly for the jungle role, with Oleg being 21-years-old. Koala hasrecently turned 20, but was 19 at the time of joining the team at the end of 2025.
As a development team within Karmine Corp, KC Blue Stars have proven their pathway works: two players from last year—Xu “Tao” Hongtao Alessandro and Costin “Hazel” Pestrițu—have already moved up to Karmine Corp Blue, showing that joining KC's third team in Tier 3 can be the right choice for ambitious players despite other ERL opportunities (Tier 2).
Various hiccups during the offseason
Swedish support Erwin “Alaric” Cader will join Karmine Corp Blue Stars in the Nexus League, replacing the previously considered Richard “Richu” Anmann. Richu was initially set to join KCBS, but the organization reversed its decision after an old screenshot surfaced showing him sending insulting and discriminatory messages in a LoL client DM. At just 19, Alaric already brings solid ERL experience, having played for Ruddy Esports and Rich Gang in the NLC, and has participated twice in the EMEA Masters. Known for his signature Zac support and a versatile champion pool, he will now compete in the LFL Invitational this Winter, giving KCBS a chance to challenge top-tier ERL teams and potentially secure promotion to the LFL.
However, complications didn't stop here. French 18-year-old jungler Theocacs had initially been in verbal agreement to join KCBS, but the organization reversed its decision after a clip circulated on social media showing him discussing a past domestic violence case involving French Twitch streamers Célia “Helydia” Tansel and Maxime “Fugu” Magalhaes. In the clip, Theocacs appeared to downplay the severity of the incident, repeating claims that Fugu had “slapped the back of her neck to calm her down,” which sparked significant backlash online. Theocacs has since issued an apology on Twitter, acknowledging that his comments were inappropriate and expressing regret for the way he discussed the situation. Sources told Sheep Esports that despite this, the controversy ultimately cost him his place on the team.
Following Theocacs’ departure, KC Blue Stars signed 21-year-old Russian jungler Oleg “Oleg” Karkachev to fill the role. Oleg is the most experienced player on the roster, having played nearly 900 professional games since 2023 and competed in the EMEA Masters with Veni Vidi Vici. Currently Challenger with 1,239 LP, Oleg brings a veteran presence and stability to the squad, complementing KCBS’ young core and giving them guidance heading into the LFL Invitational starting January 21.
Meet Panda, Koala, and Looki
Panda2, 18, joins from his previous ERL experience with One More Esports in the Arabian League and has attracted the interest of many this offseason. He peaked above 1500LP in SoloQ playing champions such as Lee Sin, Sylas, Yasuo and Yone. His work ethic has already been credited
in a previous Sheep Esports report.
Looki, 19, spent 2025 in Division 2 of the Prime League with DKB XPERION NXT and peaked above 1000LP in Solo Queue. His most-played champions are Ezreal, Jhin, and Smolder. Koala, 20, previously competed in the Nexus Tour with Esprit Shonen, then at Skillcamp Academy, and joined Zerance for the LFL Division 2 Summer Split; he currently has a peak of 1,048 LP in Grand Master on solo queue and is known as a strong Irelia player. Unless the Blue Stars qualify for LFL, it will be his second year playing in the second division of France.
The roster was finalized after tryouts that included more than five candidates for each role, drawn from an even larger pool. Although the streamed scrim didn’t go in their favor today, it’s not indicative of the progress KC Blue Stars is designed to foster for its young players.
