After an entry to LFL Division 2 during the Summer Split 2025,
Caldya Esport is preparing to overhaul its roster ahead of the 2026 season. The organization, which earned its spot in the league by taking over Valiant’s Spring Split championship roster, now continues its growth by focusing on continuity and homegrown talent development.
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Caldya will rely on three players from Caldya Lab: Killian “Kiki” Gauchey, Dralí, and Felix “Mauki” Grohs. Caldya Lab was founded as a continuation of the club’s initial Nexus Tour project earlier in 2025 and officially became Caldya Esports’ academy team following its Division 2 promotion.
Kiki, Dralo, and Mauki, who won the second stage of the Nexus Tour in May 2025, will be joined by Simão “Gordinho” Valente, returning to Caldya after a summer split spent competing in the Portuguese league, making him the fourth player to return to the organization. Rounding out the lineup, Gurjot “Nan0” Singh brings several years of ERL experience, most recently with Austrian Force willhaben in the Prime League.
Road to the Nexus League 2026
Caldya Esports joins the list of organizations that have finalized their roster ahead of the 2026 season, which also marks
the rebranding of French Division 2 under its new name, the Nexus League. The competition will feature eight teams: five returning organizations — Karmine Corp Blue Stars, Skillcamp, Caldya Esport, Lille Esports, and Project Conquerors — along with three newcomers: Galion Sharks, Lausanne Esports, and TLN Pirates.
All eight squads are officially part of the second division, although the lineup may still change in the coming weeks. Starting January 21, the seven LFL teams, the eight Nexus League organizations, and five invited rosters will compete in the
LFL Invitational. Among the 13 non-LFL teams, the top two will earn a coveted spot to compete in the LFL Spring and Summer Splits of 2026.
After spending the offseason with Solary, Blazzios returns to Caldya as Head of LoL for 2026.
