LazyFeel" Bảo Minh has been promoted to the starting roster for the second time this year, replacing Park "
Teddy" Jin-seong. The Vietnamese academy AD carry had
already stepped in during the LCK Cup when Teddy fell ill, playing four BO3s and winning three of them, with the only loss coming against
T1.
Teddy played earlier this morning with DRX Challengers in their 2-0 win over OKSavingsBank BRION Challengers. Later today, the DRX main roster will face
BRION in a crucial matchup against a direct competitor—one they must win to keep their already slim playoff hopes alive.
first non-Korean player in the LCK
Although he played in several series during the LCK Cup, the competition wasn’t considered part of the official LCK season—making today the moment he officially became the first non-Korean player to compete in a game of the Korean league. At just 18 years old, the ADC is already making history and is determined to prove he belongs at this level. Following his appearances in the LCK Cup, he also played in LCK CL Rounds 1-2 with the academy roster, which currently sits in second place with an 8-2 record.
In LCK CL Round 1-2, across twenty games, the player has showcased his versatility with nine different champions and proved he can step up and carry when needed. He holds an impressive 100% win rate on Varus across three games, and over 80% on his most-played champion, Ezreal. Earlier this year during the LCK Cup, he was called up and played twice on Kai’Sa, Ezreal, Corki, and Miss Fortune, and once on Ashe, Kalista, and Varus—eleven games in total, winning just over half. His performances left a strong impression on LCK fans, who are excited to see him back on Summoner’s Rift.
