The second week of
LEC Versus has concluded on Monday, January 27, with numerous players standing out — some confirming their strong debuts from week one, while others bounced back to showcase their best level.
Seven teams secured at least two victories this week, with only
Karmine Corp managing a
perfect 3–0 record to claim first place in the standings.
The Sheep Esports LEC Team of the Week 2 — with a maximum of two players per team — features Kim "Canna" Chang-dong in the toplane, Enes "Rhilech" Uçan in the jungle, Kang "kyeahoo" Yea-hoo in the midlane, Elias "Upset" Lipp as AD carry, and Park "Lospa" Joon-hyeong as support. For his decisive performances in Karmine Corp’s victories, Canna is our Most Valuable Player of the week.
Toplaner: Canna (MVP)
With little room for debate, Canna was the best toplaner of the week in the LEC. Consistent across all three of his team’s victories, he made a decisive impact against G2 Esports by gaining the upper hand over Sergen "BrokenBlade" Çelik, who had surprised him with a Lee Sin top pick. He was then dominant against Natus Vincere, collecting three solo kills on three different players and turning his Ambessa into an overwhelming and unstoppable threat. In total, he recorded four solo kills this week, placing him at the top of that category for the season so far.
Jungler: Rhilech
Despite standout weeks from Javier "Elyoya" Prades and Martin "Yike" Sundelin, Rhilech — already impressive last week — is once again rewarded for his current form. Consistently placed on carry champions, he showcased his Aatrox three times this week, earning MVP awards against Karmine Corp Blue and SK Gaming. Even in NAVI’s loss to Karmine Corp, he owned the league leaders with a triple kill in early game.
Midlaner: kyeahoo
Karmine Corp’s Korean contingent takes center stage this week. After a relatively quiet opening week, kyeahoo stepped up significantly. Strong in lane on both Azir and Ryze, he was rarely pressured and became far more proactive in early skirmishes, while also making the difference in teamfights — particularly against G2 Esports, where he claimed MVP of the game after a dominant performance.
AD Carry: Upset
Despite opening the week with a loss to Movistar KOI, Upset was otherwise solid throughout the weekend. True to his playstyle, marked by a low error rate, the German AD carry played a key role in his team’s victories and fulfilled his carry duties effectively. On his favored Kai’Sa composition, he dominated Team Vitality, thanks to a perfect synergy between him and Iván "Razork" Martín, finishing with an 11/0/7 scoreline where he secured his two thousandth kills in LEC.
Support: Lospa
Despite strong performances from Fnatic’s AD carry, the true standout of the week for Fnatic was in the support role. Relatively quiet in week one, Lospa showcased much more of his true level this time around. Even in defeat, he dominated the lane against KOI alongside Upset. On engage supports, he played a decisive role in both of Fnatic’s victories and, quite logically, secured both MVP awards in their wins.
