LCS Summer Split 2026 Team of the week 2

The second week of the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Summer Split was a breeze, and the teams continue to battle to secure a better spot in the standings as the race for the playoffs begins to take shape.

The race to qualify for the 2026 World Championship, hosted on home soil, is heating up, and the teams have to fight for every inch. However, before teams can think of the final international tournament of the year, they have to focus on the regular season. After this week’s best-of-three matches, Sheep Esports has selected five players from the second week of the LCS who performed above the rest.

Limited to a maximum of two players per team, Sheep Esports' Team of the Week features toplaner İbrahim "" Samet Bulut, jungler Brandon Joel "" Villegas, mid laner Kang "" Sung-in, bot laner Kim "" Min-cheol, and support Michael "" Luu. In recognition of his outstanding performances, Saint has been named our Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the week.

Gakgos had a quietly good week 2, playing consistently and helping secure a close but deserved 2-0 against . The top laner performed well across the two games, starting with a commanding Game 1 and followed it with a calm and collected Game 2 performance. The Turk finished his Rumble game with a unique KDA of 0/0/10. While not the flashiest performance, his consistency across the series earns him a well-deserved spot as the best top laner of the second week of the LCS.

The 2026 Spring Split MVP Runner-up hasn’t skipped a beat, and it was who found out. Josedeodo had a hard-earned 2-0 week thanks to his performance with two of his staple picks: Xin Zhao and Naafiri. For Game 1, he piloted the former to a deathless performance in a comfortable win. The latter was the champion picked for Game 2, which proved to be a more contested affair. However, the dogs were loose when the Argentinean found the wombo-combo to secure another 2-0 week.

is closer to the return of their superstar jungler, but mid laner Saint made sure the Pride's fans don't miss him. This weekend, El Santo faced as both teams fought for a coveted 2-0 start. The Korean came to play and helped stabilize an off-course ship infested with Rebels. The mid laner earned his MVP award thanks to an Ahri performance with fearless audacity, finding pixel-perfect charms to turn the game around. In Game 2, Saint piloted Annie and found clutch multi-man stuns to close the series 2-0.

The best way to describe Berserker’s performance against SR is total bot lane domination. Though his lane’s current meta is plagued with mages, the Korean adds a week of defiance by playing two AD Carries. Game 1 was a constant back-and-forth, but his Ezreal kept his deaths low and his damage high to close the game. However, the decision to pick Lucian made Game 2 a breeze compared to the last game. An early game dive and several 2v2 kills dictated the pace of the game and the series.

Cryogen’s performance helped the team add its first tally to the win column in the Summer Split. His proactivity with Camille in Game 1 helped dictate the early stages of the match, even if the team struggled to close it out. Game 2 was a contrast to the previous game, and it was mostly the support's Bard that helped set the tone. Cryogen neutralized the opposing bot lane, finished the game deathless, and had an impressive 93% Kill Participation.
