How to access new LoL Discord integration

Discord, a leading space in chatting for gamers, announced new integration recently for League of Legends. While Riot Games players could already link their accounts to Discord, the companies’ plans involve much greater connectivity, and new features, in the coming months. Here’s a simple guide on how to get connected now that this integration is rolling out.

Those with a LoL-to-Discord connection already will see a notification pop up announcing the migration to the “Riot ID” system, along with an “update connection button.” Clicking this will prompt the Riot page to pop up in one’s browser, in which just pressing “continue” does the job. Making a new Riot ID connection, for those not already connected, also works.

The Riot ID system, which will grow in its connectivity to LoL, is planned to work with other Riot Games titles in the coming months.
