Toplaner Chen "
Bin" Ze-Bin will start for
Bilibili Gaming against LGD Gaming this Thursday. This will be his first match with the team since their loss to Dplus KIA at the 2026 Esports World Cup. He was replaced for a month by Yang "
" Wen-Bo before Li "
" Xuan-Jun
joined the team from Anyone’s Legend.
On July 21, Bin announced that he would be taking a break, explaining that he had not been feeling his best lately and, after discussing it with the team, decided to step away to rest and recharge. Meanwhile, rumors of internal issues within BLG spread across social media.
During his absence, BLG reportedly explored several options, including Yoon “
” Yong-ho from Ninjas in Pyjamas.CN. After lengthy negotiations, Bilibili Gaming eventually secured the services of Flandre, who had recently parted ways with Anyone’s Legend
following the arrival of Chen “
” Chen.
The Return of the King
Bin will therefore return to BLG’s starting roster, but that does not necessarily mean we won’t see Flandre again, as he will probably remain as part of a six-man roster. Wenbo, meanwhile, was sidelined for
a wrist injury after slipping and falling on a wet road in the rain, which is expected to keep him out for some time.
During Bin’s absence, BLG opened LPL Split 3 with six consecutive series wins before suffering back-to-back losses against Top Esports and JD Gaming. Flandre therefore played only the team’s final three series. As a reminder, BLG have already qualified for Worlds thanks to the Championship Points they accumulated throughout the season.
When Bin announced his break, it was already expected that he would return for the playoffs. However, his comeback comes slightly earlier than anticipated, with three series against LGD, TES, and AL remaining before the end of the regular season. These matches should give him the perfect opportunity to get back into form before heading into the playoffs, where BLG will look to secure the LPL’s first seed for Worlds, with the second seed being the lowest they can finish.
