The
LFL Invitational is a new tournament taking place during the French leagueâs Winter Split. It will feature 20 teams: seven from the LFL, eight from the Nexus League (the rebrand of LFL Div 2), and five invited teams. The 20 teams have been drawn into five groups of four and will begin competing on January 21.
The remaining LFL teams are Galions, Solary, BK ROG Esports, Joblife, Vitality.Bee, Ici Japon Corp. Esport, joined by Esprit Shonen, who were promoted from Division 2. The Nexus League representatives will be Skillcamp, TLN Pirates,
Karmine Corp Blue Stars, Galions Sharks, Lille Esports,
Project Conquerors,
Caldya, and Lausanne Esports.
Finally, the invited teams will also take part:
French Flair, led by French streamer Jean âTraytonâ Medzadourian;
Team ZYB, created by Yasin âNisqyâ Dinçer; Vitality Rising Bees, Vitalityâs womenâs team;
Team Yumeea, founded by Antonella Maria âAlooneaâ Tarantino and Camille âYumeâ LaisnĂ©; and Zephyr Esports. The two best non-LFL teams will earn a spot in the French elite for the rest of the year.
