Uzi has not played competitively since Summer 2023, when he was wearing the EDward Gaming jersey and shared the botlane with Tian “
Meiko” Ye. In 2022, he had already made a competitive return for one split with Bilibili Gaming after a two year break, but the stint did not go very well.
Uzi spent almost the entirety of the rest of his career with Royal Never Give Up, where he reached the World Championship final twice: in Season 3, losing to SKT T1, and
in 2014, losing to Samsung White. He notably won MSI 2018 and is a four-time LPL finalist and two-time LPL champion.
During his stream, Uzi also mentioned that he would like to organize his own tournament: “
I want to make my own tournament similar to the Legend Cup during the off-season.” The
Legend Cup is a Chinese tournament featuring retired or free agent players, which he took part in twice in 2024 alongside players such as Shi “
Ming” Sen-Ming and Chang “
Xinyi” Ping.
At 28 years old, Uzi does not really plan to return to the LPL, after a career that spanned nearly twelve years across RNG, Oh My God, BLG, and EDG. He notably won the 2018 Asian Games for his country alongside Yan “Letme” Jun-Ze and Liu “Mlxg” Shi-Yu. He was the second player in
League of Legends history to be inducted into the
Hall of Legends, just behind the GOAT, Lee “
Faker” Sang-hyeok.
