spoke to Sheep Esports. The South Korean jungler reflected on Gen.G’s tournament finish and looked ahead to the upcoming return of the LCK.

What are your first thoughts after today’s game?

Kim " Canyon " Geon-bu: “The first thing that comes to mind about today's game is that, although we weren't able to win the championship, we were all able to play together in our final match, and I think we learned a lot from it.

Looking back on this tournament, how would you evaluate your team's performance?

Canyon: Looking back on this tournament, I honestly don't think our team's performance was good enough. I think this was a tournament where we realized many things we were lacking and the areas where we need to improve going forward.

How does it feel to secure a victory in the third-place match? Would you say this win still holds significance despite it not being the final?

Canyon: We were able to defeat T1, and regardless of what tournament it is or what kind of match we play, being able to achieve a victory like this makes me very, very happy. Also, we didn't have many opportunities to play against teams from the other bracket, so being able to experience that was really fun and enjoyable.

Which player impressed you the most during this tournament?

Canyon: The player who left the biggest impression on me during this tournament was KC's Canna. The reason is that he was a player I used to be on the same team with and play alongside regularly. Seeing him go to a foreign team like KC and perform at such a high level was really impressive, and I thought it was truly amazing.

You’re going to play again in LCK soon enough in Legends Group. Do you feel like your team in its current state can be confident ahead of the competition?

Canyon: Now, we will return to Korea and the third round of the LCK will begin. If we can properly apply what I learned and the areas where I realized we need to improve during EWC, I think it will definitely help us a lot in the third round of the LCK. I also think that EWC was a very meaningful tournament.”
