According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, Poland has found its head coach for the
League of Legends tournament at the
Esports Nations Cup in Kacper "
Nahovsky" Merski, the current HC of Vitality.Bee in the LFL. Our reporters have already covered several similar updates, including Vasilis "
TheRock" Voltis taking the role for Greece, Răzvan "
Razvan" Nistor for Romania, and Jonas "
Memento" Elmarghichi for Morocco.
After coaching several teams in Eastern Europe early in his career, Nahovsky truly broke through from mid-2021 with his arrival at Z10 Esports. With the Serbian club, he won the Esports Balkan League 9 playoffs before claiming the Ultraliga Season 8 playoffs, which opened the doors to the French league. With Team Vitality’s academy, he spent nearly two years between 2023 and 2024, securing a second-place finish at the EMEA Masters 2024 Summer and a Coupe de France title, while reaching a best result of third place in an LFL split. After a short stint as Z10’s manager in 2025, where he collected multiple Rift Legends titles, he returned to the Hive in 2026 as head coach once again.
Plenty of choices
With the help of Adrian Błaszczyk, Poland’s National Team Manager, Nahovsky will now have to build the national LoL roster, composed of five players and two substitutes, with the rule that no more than three players can come from the same professional team. This should not be a major issue for the decision-making duo, given the country’s strong player base across Europe.
In the Nations Cup section on Sheep Esports, fans can vote for their dream national lineups across multiple countries, including Poland. With over 9,100 votes, the community selected Sebastian "Tracyn" Wojtoń in the top lane, Kacper "Inspired" Słoma in the jungle, and Mateusz "Czajek" Czajka in the mid lane. For the bot lane duo, Franciszek "Harpoon" Gryszkiewicz was chosen as AD Carry, alongside Adrian "Trymbi" Trybus as support.
All information about the ENC 2026
Scheduled from November 2 to 29 for its first edition in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, the nation-based competition, the largest in esports history, is expected to bring together thousands of players from around a hundred countries, competing across nearly 16 games. Alongside the League of Legends tournament, set to take place from November 21 to 29, there will also be nation-based competitions in VALORANT, Counter-Strike, Rocket League, and Rainbow Six: Siege. For Riot Games’ MOBA title, around 32 teams, each representing a nation, will compete on site.
Before that, the participants still need to be decided. The Esports Foundation, which oversees the ENC and the Esports World Cup (two separate events), has decided that 16 teams out of the 32 will qualify directly for the final tournament, based on the results of their representatives in Riot Games’ official competitive circuits. The other participants will have to go through seven regional qualifiers, each offering two spots. The remaining two slots will reportedly be allocated by the ENC in the form of wildcards, likely at the discretion of the event organizers.
