According to
Korean media reports based on
’s audit filings, the team has released its 2025 financial results, revealing a milestone year for the legendary Korean organization. For the first time since its founding, the team recorded a profit, marking a major turnaround after several loss-making seasons. In total, T1 brought in ₩88.6 billion (around $65 million) in revenue last year —
an increase of more than 80% from 2024 — while also achieving a small but symbolic ₩2.5 billion operating profit. Net income reached ₩1.2 billion, completing the shift into positive territory after what had been a challenging financial period for the company.
The organization’s growth was driven by strong performance both in Korea and abroad. Domestically, T1 nearly doubled its revenue, earning ₩51.8 billion thanks to robust local support, high engagement around League of Legends, and collaborations with major brands. Overseas markets added significant momentum as well. Revenue from the Americas almost doubled, fueled by growing international recognition and fan-driven merchandise sales, while both the Asian and European regions saw healthy double-digit increases. Together, these results underline how T1’s reach and influence now extend well beyond its home region.
The merchandising machine
A large share of T1’s financial success came from merchandise and sponsorships. The team’s global fanbase continues to expand, and demand for branded products — from apparel to collectibles — helped generate record-breaking sales figures. T1’s 2025 cost of goods sold nearly doubled, a sign of exploding sales rather than inefficiency. Jerseys, capsule collections, and limited-edition collaborations have turned the team’s global fanbase into a commercial engine.
Few organizations can turn fan devotion into business as effectively as T1 — a testament to the brand’s cultural weight and the enduring popularity of its star player,
, whose influence continues to transcend the game itself. Sponsorship revenue also kept rising, with several major partners significantly increasing their investment in the T1 brand. This combination of fan-driven sales and corporate partnerships gave T1 a more stable and diversified business base.
The growth also reflects years of effort to strengthen T1’s brand identity and global visibility. By developing new collaborations, expanding its online store, and maintaining consistent success in competitive play, the organization successfully turned audience enthusiasm into commercial success. For a team often known for its dominance in League of Legends, 2025 showed that T1 can win both on and off the Rift. To consolidate its newfound profitability, T1 approved a capital increase in early 2026, raising the equivalent of $7.5 million in fresh funds through a private share issuance.
