FULL SENSE are adding another piece to their roster just days before the return of
VCT Pacific. A familiar face to the organization is making his comeback, as Chinnakrit “
Furiouss” Phoojaroen, formerly known as seph1roth, is set to join the team, sources tell
Sheep Esports on Tuesday. The Thai player was already part of FULL SENSE in the
VCL Southeast Asia last year and will re-join the squad as a substitute.
FULL SENSE had already attempted to sign the Thai player a few weeks ago, before the start of the VCL SEA Split 1, but Furiouss’ current team at the time, Sharper Esport, was not willing to sell him. Sharper Esport ultimately finished as runners-up after losing the final to Motiv Esports. With the competition now concluded, Furiouss has been allowed to join FULL SENSE for VCT Pacific Stage 1.
A secret weapon
Initially, Furiouss could have replaced Thanyathon “Leviathan” Nakmee in the active lineup, but the team ultimately decided to bring him in as a substitute, keeping the option open to field him if a player fails to perform as expected during the competition. As a result, Furiouss could make his VCT debut at any point during the upcoming split.
So far, the player has mainly made a name for himself in the VCL, particularly with FULL SENSE last year. During that run, the team won one split and qualified for Ascension, where they were eventually eliminated despite strong individual performances from Furiouss. He ultimately did not make the transition to the VCT when the team was selected to replace TALON in the league.
During their first split in the league, FULL SENSE finished in 7th–8th place after ending the stage with three consecutive losses despite opening with two wins. Over the offseason, the team explored several options for its coaching staff before recruiting Thanaphat “THEE” Limpaphan as head coach and bringing back former player Panyawat “sushiboys” Subsiriroj as assistant coach. FULL SENSE will begin their campaign on Saturday with a match against DetonatioN FocusMe.
