They are set to be one of the tournament’s most feared contenders. As of this Tuesday, the three players who will represent Saudi Arabia on home soil this November for the
Rocket League Esports Nations Cup tournament are officially known. Unsurprisingly, the Kingdom has opted for continuity.
Winners of the FIFAe World Cup in 2024 and finalists again in 2025, and already coached by Abdulrahman Saad "d7oom-24" Bin Fayez, the Saudi trio remains unchanged, with Mohammed Khalid “trk511” Alotaibi once again joining brothers Saleh Abdullah “Rw9” Bakhashwin and Yazeed Abdullah “Kiileerrz” Bakhashwin. Twisted Minds player Hisham “Nwpo” Alqadi, teammate of trk511 at club level, will serve as a luxury substitute.
Alongside France and the United States, Saudi Arabia will enter the competition as one of the three major favourites. Beyond their performances under the national banner, the starting trio also competed together between 2024 and 2025 with Team Falcons. Last season proved particularly successful for the three players, who won the Raleigh Major and reached the Worlds final. trk511 subsequently left the organisation to join Twisted Minds. Since then, however, none of the three players has managed to secure another RLCS title.
Second in the nations ranking
With Samy “dralii” Hajji brought in to offset the departure of trk511, the Bakhashwin brothers reached the semi-finals of the first Major of the year in Boston. More significantly, Falcons failed to qualify for the second Major in Paris altogether. Meanwhile, after a disappointing showing in Boston, where they finished 9th–12th, trk511 and Nwpo rebounded by reaching
the grand final in France. While the first Major had suggested that the MENA region might be lagging slightly behind this season, the Paris event largely restored its standing.
As a reminder,
24 nations have already secured direct qualification for the ENC main event. Invitations were determined based on the number of points accumulated by the three highest-scoring members of each roster — substitute included — across RLCS-affiliated competitions since the beginning of the season.
Unsurprisingly, Saudi Arabia is among the invited nations. With 288 points in total — 105 each from Nwpo and trk511, alongside 78 from either Rw9 or Kiileerrz —
the country ranks second overall behind France. Yet on home soil — barring an unforeseen situation similar to the Esports World Cup, which was
relocated to France due to the conflict in the Middle East — second place will not be enough.
