At the end of the fourth week of the
League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) Spring Split, the matches concluded with no real surprises: five 2-0 scorelines, with only the opening series between

, while
extended their win streak by defeating SK at the end of the LEC week.
At the conclusion of the weekend’s matches,
Sheep Esports’ Team of the Week, limited to a maximum of two players per team, features toplaner Kim "
" Chang-dong, jungler Enes "
" Uçan, midlaner Rasmus "
" Winther, AD Carry Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság, and support
Alan "Busio" Cwalina. In recognition of two high-level performances throughout the week, Caps
has been named our Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the week.
Toplaner: Canna
This week, Canna had to face
, a matchup that could have been tricky for some. But the Korean toplaner stayed solid throughout: first with a deathless game on Rumble, followed by a Vayne performance where he managed to solo kill Wunder’s Gnar. From there, he continued to have a major impact across the map and in teamfights. Canna looks more than ready for the
Roadtrip in Évry-Courcouronnes.
Jungler: Rhilech
It was the closest best-of of the week, with
dropping Game 1 to a surprising and heavily dive-oriented
composition featuring Vi, LeBlanc, Kai'Sa, and Neeko. The jungle matchup was crucial throughout the series, and Game 1 clearly went in favor of Ismaïl “
” Boualem.
In Game 2, it was off a monstrous performance from Zaahen that Rhilech helped bring the series level, finishing first in damage for his team with over 34% damage share. In Game 3, Rhilech and NAVI flipped the script from the style people usually expect from them, drafting Skarner jungle and allowing
to carry the game. Whether on utility picks or carry champions, Rhilech is one of the best junglers in the league.
Midlaner: Caps (MVP)
Caps is, unsurprisingly, our MVP of the week. He first faced SK and Adam “
” Ilyasov, opening the series with an imperious Ahri performance where Europe’s GOAT closed the game with a huge pentakill. Game 2 was more difficult, however, as he was solo killed by LIDER’s Lissandra.
Once in the side lane, Caps was able to showcase his strength with a devastating teleport onto a midlane fight, picking up a double kill in a play that completely shifted the game into G2’s hands, earning him the MVP of the match. The series against Shifters was more contested, but G2 still managed to come out on top in a contested laning phase against Ilias “
” Bizriken.
AD Carry: Carzzy
Carzzy was once again named MVP of a Vitality series, this time after defeating GIANTX on Sunday. Early in Game 1, during a chaotic midlane fight, Carzzy picked up a triple kill on Caitlyn, creating the momentum needed to snowball and open the series. In Game 2, it was through a controlled Ashe/Lulu botlane that Carzzy and Vitality closed out the best-of and secured first place in the LEC.
Support: Busio
Busio is probably the best support in the league right now, and he was also named MVP of this series against SK. In Game 1, KC’s support delivered a near-perfect Bard performance, finishing 3/0/14 with close to 90% kill participation on a champion that allows him to showcase all of his creativity. In Game 2, he had to play into an Amumu support, but still managed to control the game on Nami. It was a fairly chaotic match, but it ultimately ended in favor of the Blue Wall.
