This Wednesday, only a few months after its creation,
Frites Esports Club will make its debut at the EMEA Masters. More than simply a successful launch, the team utterly dominated the Winter Split of the Road of Legends, not losing a single game on its path to the title. The serious business can therefore finally begin for a roster that presents itself as a credible outsider.
At the center of the FEC project, the midlaner Krzysztof
“Wolorz” Kasprzak will be competing in his second edition of the tournament, having previously defended the banner of
at Summer 2025. Confident and assured in both his individual and collective strengths, the 19-year-old Polish player reflects, in an interview with
Sheep Esports, on the way he approaches the competition, while already projecting himself toward an even greater future.
Krzysztof "Wolorz" Kasprzak: "I started looking for any teams around 2022 just for fun. At the beginning of 2024, I joined my first "professional" team, LODIS, in the 2nd division of Ultraliga.
What made you decide to join FEC and compete in the Benelux league this season?
Wolorz: I just saw good potential in the project. FEC went undefeated in the league.
Did you expect things to go this smoothly when the season started?
Wolorz: Of course, this was the bare minimum.
What do you think makes this roster work so well together?
Wolorz: I think even tho we don’t have big names, our characters just work really well together.
How would you describe your playstyle and strengths as a midlaner?
Wolorz: I believe I have a good view of the game overall. I might not be the strongest on lane yet, but I have good ideas early, middle, and late game.
Which midlaners inspired you the most growing up? Are there any pro players you watch closely to improve your game?
Wolorz: When I was still low elo, I watched
(
Rasmus Winther) a lot because
he was just the biggest. When I was starting or just thinking about starting going pro , I watched
(
Heo Su) a lot.
Now the next step is EMEA Masters, where you’ll face the best teams from every ERL. How big a step up do you expect the level to be?
Wolorz: I played it once before. I faced bad teams and good teams. I played
back then, and compared to what I had in my head, they were really weak. It’s up to us to be consistently strong, and we can make every single team look like clowns.
Which midlaner would you like to face at the tournament?
Wolorz: I wanna play against two midlaners, Mrozku (
Adrian Skonieczny). I faced him quite a lot on scrims and want to see how he plays when it comes to big games. I also want to play
(
Kang Dong-soo), I think he is just
the best midlaner on lane in the tournament, and I want to actually measure my skills.

What would count as a successful EMEA Masters run for you and the team?
Wolorz: Top 5-8 is a score that will make me happy. I think 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-4th places are also doable, but will require everyone to play at their peak and a little luck.
Do you think FEC is underestimated coming into the tournament?
Wolorz: Yes. We showed that we can hit back on scrims, I think even against big teams, if they make a small mistake, the series will collapse.
Do you personally feel pressure going into such an event?
Wolorz: Not anymore. Right now, I’m just excited to see which teams we will draw*.
*FEC have been drawn in Group 6 with BIG, S2G Esports, and The Otter Side.
Which team would you want to face in the EMEA Masters?
Wolorz: I would want to face
a lot. I wanted to join
in both the 1st and 2nd editions of the project, and I felt mega ignored twice. I’ve been told that the bar is too high for me, but right now, I’m sure we can beat them in a Bo5.
Do you have any hot takes on current EMEA masters teams?
Wolorz: I think this edition of EMEA is by far the weakest of all time, which makes me think every team is beatable, with no exceptions.
Where do you want your career to be in two or three years?
Wolorz: I’m sure I have the right potential to reach LEC in 2-3 years if I just work hard.
What do you think you still need to improve before reaching that level?
Wolorz: My laning, even tho its not a horror, I have a LOT of work to do with it. Once it gets to the point where I’m happy, I will climb in the EU rapidly.”
