As with the previous two editions,
League of Legends will once again be a medal event at the
Asian Games 2026, alongside several other titles such as
Honor of Kings, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and
PUBG Mobile. Scheduled to take place from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, October 4 across Nagoya and the Aichi Prefecture, the new edition will see many Asian nations, including South Korea, China and Vietnam, compete for the highly coveted gold medal.
Before the final event, whose dates have yet to be announced by the Olympic Council of Asia, a qualifier will be held in
Kuala Lumpur from June 12 to 14. Part of the participating teams will therefore be decided in Malaysia, while several other nations are expected to receive direct invitations, similarly to the previous editions. Since the start of 2026, several Asian countries have begun forming their future national teams, while others have already confirmed their non-participation, including host nation Japan, Thailand and Indonesia among the most notable examples.
The list below represents all participating nations and the players selected for each of them. It will be updated progressively as the various federations announce their rosters.
For now, the OCA, the organization responsible for the
Asian Games, has yet to reveal which teams will receive direct invitations to Japan, as well as the competition format that will be used.
